Why wait so long to cut him if he's purely a salary cap cut? I mean, most teams have spent a good portion of their cash already, haven't they? Kinda limits his earnings ceiling if there is limited cap space available league wide to actually get signed.

Haven’t really been following his story. How long ago did he ask to be traded? Pre-draft, or was it recent? Az Cards are looking for a trade partner for 29 yr old ILB, Jordan Hicks 6'1, 236 LBs
His contract would be about $ 3M for 2021, with the signing bonus staying with AZ

The team directly said they'll look at veteran ILBs to add the the group, so I wouldn't rule it out. new rules on blocking for 2021...the video lays it out much better than the verbiage - but this is a HUGE change in how the game is played. They want all of these low blocks eliminated - in part so they can say the game is safer and 18 reg season games are ok $$$
