Raven Greene was a cool thought. Nice in theory. Not available enough to ever be relied on. I dont care that he is not back.

If I'm his agent I tell him to wait until linemen go down in camp before signing anywhere.

Why wait so long to cut him if he's purely a salary cap cut? I mean, most teams have spent a good portion of their cash already, haven't they? Kinda limits his earnings ceiling if there is limited cap space available league wide to actually get signed.

Post draft re-shuffle? Maybe actually making him a post June 1st cut but announced it now? Also, he asked for permission to seek a trade, they gave it to him, and no one bit

He wanted out. PFF rates him as a top ten RT. They drafted his replacement.

Raven Greene was from a time before Barnes and Martin emerged as a pair of competant ILBs

Haven’t really been following his story. How long ago did he ask to be traded? Pre-draft, or was it recent? If recent, I guess I understand the timing then.

Post draft. Pretty obvious they drafted his replacement.

Az Cards are looking for a trade partner for 29 yr old ILB, Jordan Hicks 6'1, 236 LBs
His contract would be about $ 3M for 2021, with the signing bonus staying with AZ

https://overthecap.com/player/jordan-hicks/3932/

His combine measurables are decent in some areas, excellent in others including 3 cone time

https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/jo ... ition=OBLB

I know some are high on Barnes and Martin, any chance GB is interested ?
Any chance that Lowery re-structure $$ will be spent on another vet defender ?

The team directly said they'll look at veteran ILBs to add the the group, so I wouldn't rule it out. I think signing KJ Wright might be a higher preference, but I definitely think there's room for another veteran there.

new rules on blocking for 2021...the video lays it out much better than the verbiage - but this is a HUGE change in how the game is played. They want all of these low blocks eliminated - in part so they can say the game is safer and 18 reg season games are ok $$$

http://www.footballzebras.com/2021/04/r ... penalties/

The Tackle box is now a bit larger, but the new rules affect what happens outside the Tackle/TE box - no more low blocks, those are now a penalty
