Sloppy. We clearly had the better team, but did enough to deserve a loss if we had fallen.
I meant this as a sense of relief and happiness not as a negative mood after a win

This Defense knows how to get off the field with time left for the O.

Doubs was the most trustworthy receiver today

Those of y'all who wanted the D to stop the opponent for punts instead of getting takeaways...

Mind blowing that going into week 8 the NFC North has the top 3 teams in the NFC.

I’m pretty happy with their performance today.

This looked almost like the old Al Davis Raiders out there. Our Packers didn't do too much nasty stuff. But it was crazy for sure.

1. Doubs is turning into reliable and Love was certainly looking for him too. Game ball.
2. Whelan flipped the field TWICE on his own when we needed it. Game ball.
3. Williams is making more plays!
4. Reed should be whacked for fielding that punt at the 2! Twice!
5. The OLine played a good defense and did okay. But it'll need to improve.
6. Love threw 3 TDs, right? But he's been reckless with the ball. And it didn't start with this game.
7. Gary showing some signs of life?
8. Hafley accounted for much of the defense's success. Game ball for him.
9. McManus with a walk off the first week in town. Gotta be some kind of redemption for him. That was a LOT of pressure on him. Game ball.

Was there only 2 catches by their WRs today?

Southwest Florida i considered in the Miami and Tampa markets so we get those games first.

Leave? Where are you going?
I am in Jacksonville doing hurricane relief for two weeks. I return back to home (New Mexico) on the 26th.
:-)
Hey I’m down here too. I’ll be here till November 15th though. Considering going to the Jags game through Air Force ITT.
I hope you can go. As much as I'd love to, I doubt that I will. I'm currently looking for work, so the idea of spending that cash to change my flight out, hotel, game tickets, food and beverage, etc...

He is so much more Favre than Rodgers.

Lot of opportunity to clean some dumb throws, but he is him.

Think about this. Aside from THREE turnovers and Reed's dumb punt return at the 2, we could've realistically beaten the Texans by two full scores.

And how often are we praising our kicker and punter the same week?

And we are keeping up with Detroit and Minny.

And more backups (Wilson, etc.) are emerging.

And we win a sloppy game against a good team.

And our GOOD defense maybe outplayed their good defense (even while they lacked some starters).

So, this is a good day! Celebrate now. But definitely clean up sloppy stuff tomorrow. There is plenty to work on.

Give the Texans the ball twice at the 11, and 3 turnovers, -3 on the turnover sheet, and damn. How do you win that game?

Opposing borderline all pro QB goes 10 for 21 for 86 yards.

Nuts

This was the first time Jordan Love had a game winning drive (meaning he is down or tied with under 2 minutes to go and wins it)

All other close games last year and this year were won by the defense on the field.

Defense left him some time. I love aggressive D. Win or lose but get off the field so we have a realistic shot. :beer2: I think we might have had a shot last year if they left Love 3 minutes against the Niners.
