Packers just finished the restructure for Bahktiari. I suppose that means he will NOT be a part of any Rodgers trade.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
I'd say this is a fair barometer of how the soon-to-be-Rodgersless Packers are viewed nationally
Of course they're wrong...
"In fresh NFC North odds from FanDuel Sportsbook, which were updated in the wake of the Chicago Bears’ massive trade with the Carolina Panthers and the Packers’ potential trade of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay has the longest odds to win the division.
When FanDuel released its initial division odds on March 2, the Lions were +180 to win the NFC North, followed by the Packers at +260, Minnesota Vikings at +300 and Chicago Bears at +350.
In the update,
the Lions are +145,
the Vikings are +280,
the Bears are +300
and the Packers are all the way to + 410.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the Packers are viewed as the worst team in the division. Just that they are deemed the least likely team to win the division"
Golden opportunity to make some coin by going against the public, because after all - the masses are asses.

I hope not. Love will need a great LT to cover his backside this coming season.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑10 Mar 2023 14:50Packers just finished the restructure for Bahktiari. I suppose that means he will NOT be a part of any Rodgers trade.

That’s part of what I am saying. Bahk will NOT be in a trade. He will stay in GB.Pugger wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 11:39I hope not. I should also have added that it is interesting that the Lions are the favorites for the division over MN.BSA wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 11:22I'd say this is a fair barometer of how the soon-to-be-Rodgersless Packers are viewed nationally

why the odds makers have the Bears ranked third to me means the odds makers don't put much stock in the draft or UFA, the Bears are primed to have a huge turn around just as the Lions did the last part of last season, they have a 100 mil cap surplus to by UFA, and draft capitol to get the best in class WR, or a very good defensive prospect.
I think it's really tough to rank the NFC North, the Lions seem the most settled and pointing upward, us and Minny and Chicago have made some pretty heavy changes, predicting how this stuff plays out is a mystery

I'm not surprised at all. The Lions were clearly building something and then rip off a huge 2nd half of the season. The Lions are trending up. Tons of draft capital too.Pugger wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 11:57I should also have added that it is interesting that the Lions are the favorites for the division over MN.BSA wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 11:22I'd say this is a fair barometer of how the soon-to-be-Rodgersless Packers are viewed nationally

I wouldn't be surprised if they have one of the best record in the NFC in 2023.

One of the best reasons that the Lions did what they did in 2022 was that they learned how to play at a highly motivated level. A lot of teams don’t sustain that type of motivation. If they can, you can also bet that Campbell will become one of the best HCs in the league.

I don't disagree but it is funny how MN is no longer the favorites.go pak go wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 12:28I'm not surprised at all. Maybe that's because Jared Goff is the premier QB in NFC North now. And the Vikings still have no defense. The Pack Will Be Back soon!Pugger wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 11:57I should also have added that it is interesting that the Lions are the favorites for the division over MN.BSA wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 11:22I'd say this is a fair barometer of how the soon-to-be-Rodgersless Packers are viewed nationally

I agree.
But also, it seems like a perfect storm working against Rodgers.
1. Pack is ready to move on.
2. Lots of starting QBs on the move this year (even if none are as good as 12).
3. Plenty of QBs going very high in this draft.
Simply, there are plenty of QB jobs out there but also many QBs. I don’t know if Aaron can find the ideal situation in that.

Rodgers is by far the best QB actually available. The reality is that Rodgers talked retirement every chance he could to nuke his trade value to the Packers, and he actually just killed his own market by appearing to be such a pain in the rear.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 20:39I agree.

Makes up for all of the post-Lombardi years when we did finish last. Sometimes not even a respectable last.
