Welcome to the club, David.

Days most important to you continually overshadowed by Aaron Rodgers drama.
Silver apologized for being a stooge, but thats the new norm now, make any dirt bag comment possible, as long as you apologize within several days, it makes it alright.

Bak should cold shoulder Silver forever.
Good lord, relax. What he said wasn't that bad, far from dirt bag. He apologized directly to him and maybe he'll learn something and do better going forward.

I have to agree with Yoop here. It's not okay to post something like that and then say you're sorry after doing it. That post was done quite purposefully to get clicks and attention. To then apologize after the fact is quite disingenuous when you posted something you know was wrong to do in the first place.

I mean, sometimes in life people do things that are wrong and are genuinely sorry for their actions, and apologies can be accepted and move on. I know that seems like a strange concept but it CAN happen.

No, the drama here is entirely done by the media, not Aaron Rodgers. No matter what Rodgers does the media is gonna make a mountain out of a mole hill about it. Last offseason Rodgers himself rarely said a word but speculation ran wild and then everyone blamed Rodgers. :-|

Rodgers knows what hes doing when he goes on Mcafee for a "big announcement" and then acts stunned people think the announcement might be related to his future as he announces he has been on some bowel cleanse.

I would agree with this pre 2016 or so, since then it is common practice to say any ol crap that comes to mind, then when your called out for being a horses ass ya back track your comments or apologize, Silver new what he was doing, he did it to attract people, he succeeded At Bakhtiari expense, true it's not as though he said anything personally offensive, my issue with it was that it was a special day for Bakhtiari, why turn it into something about Rodgers.

David was right to become upset.

I don't get what you are saying 'No' to. I didn't lay blame at the drama on Aaron Rodgers, nor media, nor made any inference on fault.

How do these rumors get started and stick around for so long like the Von Miller choosing between Packers, Rams and Broncos.

Did the salary cap get bumped up about 25M? Gosh, that'll almost get us to where we can pay our own people. Most of them anyhow.

The cap is officially set at $208.2 million for the 2022 league year.

After carryover and other adjustments (that I don't understand), the Packers have $215.4M of cap space to use. (Overthecap)

As of this moment, we are still like around 26-27M over the cap.

Yeah the cap is exactly where it was expected to set. We have known about the number for a while.

All the Packers cap projections were already taking into consideration the cap bump.

So this news didn't change anything for us.
