let me be clear, the 6 yard game, to me, is a microcosm/snapshot of who Lazard is as a player. His larger career stat line supports this. I dont think hes in any position to negotiate a new deal. I think 4m per year for the 2022 season and a great platform to prove himself is the perfect deal for him.

We all assume his contract is the issue here, but we don't even really know that for sure. Whatever his motivations are, it sounds like he plans to report to training camp on time. In the meantime, I think there is a lot more to talk about with the guys that are actually here. I like the buzz Winfree is getting. I know he did last offseason and he made some mistakes when forced into action but sounds like he's got the mindset. He's jumping to the front of the line in drills and has that dog attitude. He's my offseason crush....again ha
