Some absolutely insane QB play today. Like Drake Maye and Shedur Sanders were unreal, but Caleb Williams was a magician.

Just unreal opening week for draft prospects in a (mostly) mundane week of college football blowouts

and Maye...

My school's season is over already. We are sliding back into the pre-RG3 irrelevancy.

Ok, so like what's the real story with TJ Finley?

Started at LSU, lost the job, transferred to Auburn; started at Auburn, something happened (injury, replaced?) transferred to Texas St. Opens at Texas St and thrashes Baylor.

He's 6'7" 255; he's 3-4 years out from high school but listed as a sophomore? He was highly recruited and has had relative success when he plays but keeps losing jobs? Is he a headcase? I dunno. But I need a deep dive into this guy. I need the story. Wikipedia was not complete.

Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe he's like really stupid. I went to high school with a guy who had high draft pick NFL talent at WR but the kid was just too dumb.

I obviously fully understand that a 1st-round pick is better than a 2nd-round pick, but just given the full scenario, I am not totally upset that we are looking at a mid-2nd-round pick instead. Given where this team could be next offseason, the ability to hit needs in the 2nd and not focus as heavily on position premiums, etc., might bode well for us.

Watching the highlights and wondering how was everyone underwhelmed and way too low on Micah Parsons? There is no defensive player in the NFL that I would rather have them him.

I still can’t believe Houston gave up their first to move up a few spots to take Anderson.

Arizona gunna have picks 1 and 2.

And then they’ll trade 2 to Chicago for their 5 and 13 and ‘25 1st for bears can take Maye.

And classic PH.com thinking that wasn’t much to give up and was fair trade value.

Unless Rodgers somehow ends up there. :nono:

0.0 chance he goes there.

He clearly wants to play somewhere he thinks has a chance, had good weapons, and respects the coach.

Chicago is 0 for 3.

Unless they clean house. Rodgers LOVES shopping.

Guys if Chicago winds up with the #2 overall pick and Caleb Williams goes #1 and they're sitting there at 2 looking at Drake Maye--a QB from UNC... the Mitch 2.0 panic will be unreal.

Officially what I'm rooting for if only because I don't think anything lower than 2 is realistic

Fair points all around here.

And side note, maybe my new favorite packer

Siemien is an okay guy. He's alright if your ship is taking on water but in no real threat of sinking. He'll be better than Wilson anyhow.

Siemien is horrid, so that is a good signing, not a guy who fans will pound the table to start over Wilson.

This is actually pretty interesting and has the ability to change a lot of things long term.

The Elway-Eli playbook.

Not new, but NIL does change things somewhat (well, for players who are not already independently wealthy)

It may be true that he can force his way off of the worst teams, but it's very questionable that he can force his way ONTO good teams
