For one thing, I like it when the Lions are abysmal. It's normal and it's funny.

For another, it bugs me that the Chiefs handed them this win by their own incompetence. I'm not saying the Lions didn't play well, but if the Chiefs hadn't given up all those yards and a defensive TD simply by being unable to hold onto a simple catch - repeatedly - it would have been a Lions L.

We have to play the Chiefs later, and we'll need to play a lot better than the Lions to win.

Say what we want about Detroit. But they do have talent. Some of it is still raw. But they bring a good energy. And that’s on Campbell quite a lot, I think.

I think the key to stopping them is to get pressure on Goff. Their OLine is one of the better ones. It almost reminds me of some of the good OLines from the 80s (Redskins in 70s too), being being and strong. Their defense will be okay. But a team that doesn’t hand over the ball to them should do fine enough most of the time.

KC is the team that is going to have rough starts or erratic consistency anyhow. In the end, they learn how to deal with their mistakes and win anyhow.
Being crappy for so many years and drafting high repeatedly they had to get better once they got some decent people coaching the team. For a fanbase that has been suffering since I've been in diapers if they win the division it won't bother me too much seeing I doubt we'll be in the mix this year.
drafting high does not guarantee success no matter the coach Pugger, look at all the high pick draft capitol we've invested in our defense over the last decade and we've rarely been better then average, I think Detroit has missed on a bunch of draft picks just as we have.

I do agree though, just as MLF has been a improvement over McCarthy, Campbell is a improvement over any coach Detroits had the last decade or so.

they'll be a tougher foe going forward.
Going back to the Lions 1957 championship season when Detroit beat Cleveland in the NFL Championship Game after knocking off San Francisco the week before in the divisional playoff .............. the Lions have LOST 12 out of 13 playoff games. The Lions All-Time winningest coach is Wayne Fontes .............. but overall Fontes had a losing record coaching the Lions. The kitties are long overdue. As are the Vikings LoL!
GO PACK GO!

Really wanted to watch Pittsburgh-49ers at 1:00

Stuck in one of the few markets that can't. Not worth spending money at a bar (unless I get invited; I'm an easy ask)

Blocked punt by the Saints.

Carr looks okay, Tannehill not. He's got a completely new OL though.

Now glad I don't have it; 20-0 yuck

A lot of teams supposed to be awful looking decidedly mediocre instead of terrible. Arizona, Houston, and Indy hanging tough

Tannehill picked. Saints LT sucks, Carr sacked twice, can't take advantage.

The Vikings first-half numbers are WILD

Cousins is 22 or 29 for 273 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT (in the red zone)
Jefferson has 7 catches for 138 yards

Guys it's halftime. Of a 10-10 game.

Sounds like this game is as ugly as the 9-6 score

Hard to tell if it a defensive battle or if both offenses just suck.

Anthony Richardson doing big damage to the haters for starting him "before he was ready" (like me)

16 of 20, 159 yards and a TD passing
7 rushes for 28 yards and a rushing TDs

Give defensive coordinators some film and then we'll see if he was ready...

Vikings up 10-3, knocking on the door of 17-3. Kirk throws that int, not even really his fault. Next time Kirk gets it back, they are down 10-17. Crazy.

It was 10-10 when he threw the pick, just before halftime.

At least that's what ESPN's gamecast tells me
