I haven't seen the actual numbers yet but I'm pretty sure the Giants have displaced the Bears on this stat. The Cowboys likely added several players to the top pressures list, as well.

Oh well. Just means there is more work to do... :aok:

For your reading pleasure.

Bears forum(s) post-game reactions:

*** OFFICAIL *** fire everyone thread

The fact the author misspelled "Official" is like finding unexpected sweet filling inside a delicious fresh baked donut.

I'm So Tired, Man...

My favorite part:
I’m tired of hearing the Bears still suck.
I'm not... :rotf:

Packers humiliate Bears - who gets the deflated ball?

Favorite quote -
"We simply can't beat the Packers. Let's be honest, if Rodgers had been the QB, this game would've been even more ugly. They probably would've scored 50+ points. GB truly owns us."
The fan resignation and acceptance fills my soul...

This is fun but I can't wait to see Justis Mousquada's (sp?) version.

Kyle Brandt have an epic monologue about how dejecting it would be if Love lays it on the Bears.

Watching Good Morning Football now. Probably missed the first time but it re-airs back to back. Can’t wait for his reaction.

To his credit he was a believer in Love and the Packers. He didn’t disrespect us at all. He’s just a Bears fan.

My quick takes

+++ Jones - get this dude a new hammy.
+++ Romeo - clutch, huge on 3rd down and end zone, while on a pitch count. Get him healthy and with Watson on the other side, he gunna have a year
++ Love - was awesome, still left some out there, took care of the ball super well, yet wasn’t afraid to sling it
+ Bakhtiari - played the whole game. Seemed like running left was a lot harder to come by, maybe he needed a few more practice reps
+ Savage - think he missed a tackle on that first drive, then was really good and physical after that
+ Jaire - wasn’t perfect, but more 2 catches for 25 yards is the result it is.
+ Wyatt/Van Ness/Brooks - all stepped up and had a flash play, love to see that, now just want to see it all more.
+ Gary - back from the ACL looking more explosive than ever
+ Tom - backed up all the hype with a really good game again from what I saw.

- Quay - had the pick 6, but I think looked lost a lot out there, little confidence,
- - Rudy Ford - 2nd safety could legit end up costing us a game or two this year, he was quite bad.
- - Dillon - the gap between him and Jones seems to be getting bigger each year.
- - Josh Myers - had a super rough start there, missed blocks and bad blocks, a botched snap, maybe 2, not sure who was in with Clifford. Our worst starter on O.

He did stand out on few plays, on those WR screens, just embarrassing attempts at blocking. For someone with his size/strength, all effort and it was bad.

Very happy I was wrong. I thought for sure that the Packers were going to come out shaky, still need to find their footing, and that it would take a few games. Turns out, it took a half.

I don’t think it’s coincidence that we played hard in preseason, and kind of a lot. 7-8 series for Love? That’s pretty much a game.

And this team came out ready play week 1, a very welcomed change from previous years.
