I am so sorry. I had to put whiskey in my old fashioned... I ran out of brandy.
I much prefer whiskey to brandy, anyway.
I like 'em both but, yeah, my norm is whiskey.

I am not a craft beer guy at all. Anyone ever check out the beer advocate website? If you are are talking about mouth feel of a beer you are drinking, just stop and go comb your beard.
...and make sure your man bun is wound tight.

I don't have a man bun, but my beard does need a combing. And a beer without a good mouthfeel isn't worth drinking. You won't catch me drinking a light beer unless I'm so far beyond f'd up that I don't know I'm doing it.

I'm awful at keeping up with my untappd ratings. Need to get back to doing it again.

I like a light beer as an all day drinking beer, beer is best enjoyed for the period of time it takes the ice cubes to melt a little in your whiskey tumbler.

Tip for those who like keeping their money.
Ron Diaz > Captain Morgan for spiced rums.

Interesting. Haven't tried it, but do like the Kirkland spiced rum which is crazy cheap. It is more "syrupy" though.

Ron has like a little vanilla-e flavor to it.
Awesome with cherry Vanilla Coke or even just cherry coke if you can’t find the former.

Finally got around to trying some Skrewball whiskey that everyone is talking about (at least in these parts).

This is a refreshing summer drink I like (minus the mint):

I've tried that Skrewball Whiskey. It's not bad. A little sweet for my taste and it's not something I'd give up my Gentleman Jack for, but it's different and it's fun for doing a shot or six with people who aren't necessarily whiskey drinkers.

Why minus the mint? Mint is great for a refreshing summer drink.
Speaking of refreshing, I've been mixing a can of Mango seltzer with a small can of coconut water, a splash of lime juice and then literally as much gin or vodka as you want (if gin, I usually add mint). It's dangerously strong, light, and feels like a tropical island without all the sugar of rum and fruit juice drinks (not that coconut water doesn't have some sugar; just less). I'm not worried about carbs or calories, more hangover prevention.
And yes, I'm using a mug big enough for two cans and then generally 4 shots of liquor; you can half it if your containers are small.

It's very sweet. Almost too much for me too.
Shots? Maybe in my twenties. Man, I don't think I could even do two of them without wanting to die.
