I don't like some of the things Lafleur, his coaches, or what Gute have done, that doesn't mean I want them fired, it just means I don't think they are perfect.

why that seems to upset people here just boggles the mind :thwap:
Replace Rodgers for the bolded words up top and you have finally realized the perspective from those who argued with you for 5 years.

Rodgers wasn't the problem with this team the last 5 years, the lack of talent at skill position was

Oh I see. Nobody is perfect except one person. Got it. :aok:

Sounds like a bunch of excuses and lack of accountability to me.

I'm practically perfect, it's my humility that requires I say practically.

ya want to know whats really funny to me, it's that you and others act as though the stare down is actually a bad thing, when it's about as normal a response to failure as any other gesture, and we do that often every time it happens. :thwap:

and if you ever played high level sports you would know and accept that it is normal, you screw up and you should expect some of it, cause it's coming, Finley and every other receiver that screwed up deserved Rodgers's cold stares, they let down their teammates.

the slogan goes like this, we strive for perfection, hoping to achieve excellence, that requires study and working at your craft, when players fail to do that we all should hold them accountable :idn:
Yeah but Rodgers was a dick about it. You can hold your teammates accountable without being toxic.
that's your perception, in reality it was with players that continued to screw up, and it is what Kraft is probably talking about, lack of accountability, we should hope and expect our better players, as well as our coaches, hold players, all players accountable to train and work hard to be better.
How do you know it wasn't Rodgers who screwed up? There were more than enough times during film review by some highly respected pundits that Rodgers did not make the right decision. So unless he was glaring a mirror that we did not see on the field, yes, glaring at them like that is toxic in my opinion.

I like how other QB's like Brady would get in the players faces but also talk them up and build confidence. Not the "I'm pissed at you and want you out of my life" glare that Rodgers would give.

So basically, hold everyone accountable except for one person. Speaking of toxicity...

You guys were doing really well not trying to argue with someone who refuses to see anything but his viewpoint - at least until just now. :)

Don't ask for that, or any other question for that matter. It's insulting!

you grilling others is whats insulting, and you do it to anyone you disagree with

and I love how the peanut gallery in here does the school yard bully routine, so childish, It's lafleurs job to require accountability, and he's asking a bunch of players to help him do it, the same damn way Rodgers and others did it under McCarthy.

It's a hoot to hear members here defending these poor little receivers for getting the 3rd degree for fking up, then in another thread complain because we lost :rotf:

And with the Jets, Rodgers held his receivers accountable for routes and drops. Held the HC accountable for game plans. Held the OC accountable for playcalling. Held the defense accountable for performance. Held the GM accountable for bringing in his buds. Held the owner responsible for the coaching staff.

Somehow, all of Rodgers accountability of others resulted in 2 less wins than the previous season with Zach Wilson at QB with a less talented roster.

well someone had to take the rains, people blame Rodgers for everything wrong with the Jets, that team was a mess before he got there

Rodgers had 28 TD's this season, the prior two seasons that passing offense produced 26 TD's, Rodgers may be a AH, but he can still play QB pretty well, and he has less control of what went on there than people think.

How was his passer rating? And how many games did the team win?

I don't watch the jets, follow them, or Rodgers, but he is not the reason the jets suck, nor was that team on any rise before he got there, this was a easy find on Google

Aaron Rodgers' 77.8 grade tied Texans QB C.J. Stroud for No. 15 in the NFL this season. Despite the Jets' record, Rodgers delivered one of the most prolific seasons by a signal-caller in green and white. His 3,879 passing yards and 28 touchdowns each rank No. 3 in franchise history.Jan 14, 2025

Well at least the beginning narrative assures everyone you're a credible source for your assertion.
