Anytime King is off the field it is a good thing. He’s a big play waiting to happen.

That may be true but it is also true of whoever else might start. Alexander is on IR. Stokes is competent even as a rookie. And then there is King and a bunch of question marks.

I don't understand why they don't activate Ento.

Why wouldnt you care if they are upgrades or downgrades?
That statement makes no sense to me.
yeah. Bad phrase for me to use and unfortunately has taken this conversation down a tangent I wished it wouldn't go.

My original disagreement was the "King being out is addition by subtraction." That may have been true when King's presence meant Stokes was on the sidelines, but now with Alexander being out and Sullivan not performing well on the boundary....I can't get on board with King being out is a good thing.

King was very good last week. Yaidom has shown he is a weakness vs Pittsburgh and Cincy. Sean Charles has shown he doesn't belong on the football field.

Of course I hope Douglas shows he has a spot worthy of playing time.

King= Dumbarious :rotf:

lis if the player isn't all pro material then according to you they stink, thing is King is easily our #3 CB, and he does ok when he can keep the play in front of him, not being able to play healthy, always playing dinged up has been our biggest problem with KIng.

Also, looking at the Bear pressure stats, it looks like they are a classic case of getting more sacks than they probably are worth. Their pass rush win rate and pressure rate is in the 20's while they lead the league in sacks.
they blitz half as much as we do, where only 3% better at 25 % success rate but we donate another body rushing the QB, my interpretation is that there more willing to rely on the base 4 man rush package because they have faith there coverage can hold up long enough for one of the 4 to get pressure, there #3 defense in the league, so the formula seems to be working I guess. :bigcry:

we've been improving our pass rush each week, wish we didn't have to blitz so much, whatever it takes though, can't give QB's time to pick the defense apart.

Where do we get they are #3 d in the league. Not being funny just a real question.

They are good but in yards given up they are middle of road (actually behind GB in this)

They have given up 11 tds on d. Good but also same as the Jets.

Juwan Winfree has been elevated from the Psquad to take Malik Taylor's Covid spot.

Also Ben Braeden was not activated. Which is a good sign that Elgton Jenkins will be active today.

Great week to get Bobby going and the backs killing them in passing game. Bears secondary is not great and Eddie is bad bad
Big Bob will not be much of a factor until he no longer has to chip a DLineman on every play. i.e. when Jenkins comes back.
I think there is a good chance Jenkins and Myers are back today.

I hate this so much... Half the damn nation gets the game, but a quarter of Wisconsin doesn't...
Do you know why this is?? :?

I know why, but it is still stupid. We in the northwest pull our TV from Minnesota. BUT being in a different state we should have a choice where our streaming service/satellite pulls from, but we don't...
That sucks. We've been lucky so far this season that all of our games have been shown down here in SW FL.
