Now this is a hell of draft.
Daxton Hill has officially become my number one draft crush for us.

I don't like him at 22, but I think I have talked myself into it pretty well at 28. I have done a number of mocks this week were I take Devonte Wyatt at 22 and then Hill is looking pretty at 28. That first group of WR's is gone by 22 and I am not sure that next group is worth reaching for at 28. Can you imagine going defense with both 1st-round picks? People would riot. I would love it. I think trading down from 28 would be a good option, too.

Cmon man, don't play that game. If you like a player at 28 there is no reason to not like him at 22. If you like someone more, that's fine.
I'm all good with D for the 1st 2 picks! But do have to get at least 1 WR with the first 4.

I know it's only 6 picks, but there is a pretty sizable difference between those two picks and talent drop-offs throughout the years prove that. I'm not saying the Packers won't and I am not saying you shouldn't. I'm just saying, at 22, I have a hard time feeling good about picking Hill there. At 28, I still don't love it, but I feel much better about it. I just think there will be more of a difference maker at 22 and if there isn't, then I hope we get out of there and add more value.

I think Hill is a difference maker. That's why I'd be very happy with spending #22 on him.

I like Cine over Hill. Wouldn't take either at 22 though.

I hate reading the words, "tight hipped" and that is what I see with Cine.
I would rather draft a guy like Nick Cross in Round 3 or 4 than Lewis Cine at the back of the 1st or with our 2nd.
Hill doesn't have tight hips. They are fluid. I want as many of those types as I can muster because they are just not that available.

Hill is more like a corner than a safety. He wouldn't help stop the run which is my biggest concern. I can't speak to ur tight hips point but I know Cine is a more willing tackler. Would only consider either if they drop.

Traded 22 and 28 for pick 8 and Atlanta's 4th rounder 114.
Comes out a little short on the TVC, but the mock sim accepted the trade.
Got some new faces here, thoughts?

I think Travon should be #1 on our board, so definitely a guy I would give up a lot for.

I'm thinking I'm there too. Him and Hutchinson are probably #1 and 2.

Same, need over the tackles, both freaks.

Seems a little early for Pierce and V. Jones, but I do understand that going Defense with the first 3 picks (two players, but traded a pick), you feel the need to apologize with WR options the rest of the way haha

Ok, that is just absurd.
If you could pull that off, I'm giving you executive of the year.
Travon Walker, Christian Watson, Alec Pierce, and Jelani Woods? Sign me up. Not to mention Dietsch who is basically a more experienced and refined Nijman coming out (remember that Nijman was a total work in progress but had unreal athletic testing)

Jones is old AF but super versatile. RB/Slot weapon/return man sort of thing. Exciting player. Role player.

Traded 22 and 92 for 40 an 41 with Seattle, comes out above even. Gives me two swings instead of one at kind of that tier that starts ending around 35, and sure enough, I got two guys I really like there at 40 and 41 who I would be happy with at 28.
Then was really planning on sitting pat with both 4th round picks, but Pierce was just sitting there looking awfully good.

Leo Chanel probably my favorite draft crush this year. I could honestly see him sneaking into the first. Khrys Barnes played 52% of defensive snaps in 16 of 17 games last year, so definitely snaps to be had for LB2. And if he is actually good, he would just be more likely to see the field in lieu of a DL or 3rd safety is some packages. Even thinking Campbell stays healthy and doesn't come off the field, could really get a good 60% of snaps from a quality ILB2, so I think this pick can be justified if you get a good player. He's a better A gap shooter than Za'Darius
Plays the run better in the A gap against a 1st round center than Kingley Keke could.
Honestly just kind of has that Clay Matthews nose for a big play and explosion and physical ability to actually do so.
Young, explosive, fast, strong and instinctive. Amazing thumper out of the gate. I think he has a way to go in coverage, but if you think of him more in the Clay Matthews, Micah Parson mold, you probably don't want him dropping into coverage a ton. But he certainly has the athleticm for it. I would imagine at his play speed, tenacity, power, he would be a plus special teams player too.
