These are the worst - freezing one micro moment in a play.

But saying that in this picture the ball is nearly already at the receiver in the flat. Defenders look like they have seen that and broken on the play.

It just pathetic analysis by these twitter people - show the clip.

Also doesn't everyone complain about rodgers not throwing quick enough and holding it.

So Romeo Doubs is supposed to alter his route mid route and read Aaron Rodgers mind in where to be but the second someone posts Rodgers misreading a defense and throwing the ball into the defense's hand...."how was Aaron supposed to know that was going to be the wrong read"

It wasn't the wrong read.

He got him the ball and he caught it didnt he.

The picture shows the ball basically to the receiver - the defenders are breaking on it. Show the clip. Show prior to release of the ball prior to snap.
Show it all.

And yes part of the receiver role is to run the play right including alterations to the play. If the QB is aware of what is supposed to happen on play depending on look the receiver should aswell.

It was incomplete and failed 4th down conversion. Honestly wouldn't have mattered had he caught it as the defense would have tackled him immediately. It would have taken a hell of a play by Doubs to convert that.

Moose tried to place blame on Watkins not blocking it and therefore allowing the defense to be in Doubs face immediately.

How about you show the clip? Stop berating others for something you have NEVER been willing to do. Never once in the time you have been here have you brought anything to ever support your opinion.

Unfortunately though, you missed the entire point of the thread. This was not a WR screen as Johnston pointed out on the broadcast.

No I am fine with a logical understanding that a micro moment frame tells nothing about the play.

I do this to correct the misrepresentation by other forum members.

But you keep falsely pushing the anti rodgers agenda and I will keep correcting it.

We know you do not have a logical understanding of anything that has to do with football. You have proven that time and again. You simply repeat nonsense in hopes that it will stick or others will give up and at the same time can't even be bothered to produce a shred of evidence to support your claims. The reason that is is because if you were actually tasked with explaining anything to do with football you would look like a complete and utter fool. So instead of having an intelligent and factual conversation with evidence, you choose to simply berate those who do the work and try to explain something that factually contradicts your hero worshipping narrative.

Wrong - strawman - no evidence.

The fact you think that pass should've went to Watkins says it all.

Bravo

You showed an opinion from someone else saying so and never corrected it.

So you are putting that opinion forward. If you disagreed with it you would comment. You didnt. You put it forward as an opinion - logically the fact you are putting it forward you support it.

Changing your mind because of what GPG said about Watkins should've been blocking.

I post tweets that provide insight into the game every week without comment. I posted said tweet to highlight that it was not a screen as said on the broadcast. go pak go said nothing of the sort. You might want to actually consider looking at guys like Fennell, Dusty, Justis, etc... You might actual learning something about the game of football. They provide great insight with evidence, unlike yourself.

X's and O's with LeRoy Butler: Breaking down a bad call in the red zone
LeRoy points out how there were receivers open against Washington but too often something went wrong that prevented a big play from happening. On defense, he explains how the players had to execute a bad play call from defensive coordinator Joe Barry in the red zone.

Honestly, before you have a stroke insisting on how much I hate Aaron Rodgers, I have blamed everyone on offense for this failure, save Aaron Jones. The line has been pretty poor, but hopefully this new make up will work out. Dillon has not been running hard at all. Our receivers have been bad and injured. Maybe some kudos to Tonyan?? LaFleur has been calling a poor game and/or has not gotten Aaron on board with what he wants to run. Gutekunst neglected the receiver position. That's not even mentioning the issues on defense and special teams. I think there are many issues surrounding this team and Aaron Rodgers playing like an average NFL QB is one of them.

I agree with practically every word above as for why the Packers find themselves at 3-4 with a 3 game losing streak and looking pretty awful over the first 7 games with the possible exception of the "kudos to Tonyan" statement, unless we are grading him on a coming off an ACL injury curve because while Tonyan has been sure-handed he lacks his pre-injury speed and goes down almost immediately upon contact and his blocking has been bad. He was also the lowest graded offensive player by PFF on Sunday. And I like Tonyan, I just don't think he just hasn't been that good.

No one other than Aaron Jones, as you note above, has been that good on offense.

And on defense, is anyone playing better in 2022 than they played in 2021? Because I can think of several who are playing worse.

The Special Teams are better than last season, but they were the worst in the NFL last season and they remain well below average.

Thus far the 2022 season has been an organization-wide failure from management, to coaches, to star QB, and all the way down to disappointing rookies.

Sadly, I don't see it getting much better.

Oof! I don't think I've ever heard Butler be that critical of a defensive call before.

Yeah. Tonyan isn’t good. Can’t block, has a few unimpactful catches with few other options. I’ve been calling him and Newman our only real liabilities on O when healthy.

Keep seeing the post film cuts, guys open frequently and deep. Few passes off the finger tips. Some total brain farts by OL, missed blocked, can’t line up, penalties. Drops and turnovers and fumbles.

Stuff is there, we just gotta keep beating ourselves.

And yet we only lose by 2.

Things can absolutely get better. My confidence is decreasing, but no one stopping up other than ourselves.
