Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't Packer related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

I was definitely expecting more of a Drew Brees like year from Wilson, with Jeudy being the biggest benefactor, with Peyton.

I wasn't even expecting Purdy to start this year.

Thought ARod was gunna do really well.

Only thing I got right, directly on that trade, was I didn't have a ton of faith in Watson either to reproduce or stay healthy.

Did use those picks to get TJ Hockenson. He's been fantasy TE #1, even over Kelce, since he's gotten to Minny. So excited long term about having him for the foreseeable future.

Since we're doing this...

Well I can't complain about this year at all. I went into the year thinking I was weak at TE and RB, and those turned into positions of strength for me. With Trey McBride finally emerging, Ferguson being a great red zone target, Isaiah Likely and Juwan Johnson providing depth, I like my TE room.

Swift and Montgomery, who had in the past been my whole RB room, managed to somehow stay relevant, while Pacheco and Bijan put up good numbers. My gamble giving up my 2024 first for Bijan went well overall - the pick ended up being the 1.10, as hoped, and Bijan is solid with potential to become spectacular in the future.

I will never be able to hear the name Kyren Williams without a jab of pain, as I cut him during roster cutdown so I could keep the likes of Skyy Moore and Darius Slayton. Number 5 RB on the season! But every time I think about that pain, I remember that I still have one of these to comfort me: :lombardi:

Puka, Saint, and Chase look like a great young trio to hold down WR, with Jayden Reed and some other youngsters will compete for starts.

My QB room looks just the same going into 2024 as previously - Lamar and Burrow and a rotating band of scrubs. I got a little fast and loose with the scrub QB rotation and lost Tyler Huntley, which was a gaffe I think I will regret if he lands a starting gig somewhere next year.

Honestly, same. I thought he was a low-level throw-in to the trade to just give me the possibility of a starting QB

I guess given I just beat out carp on a waiver claim last year in like week 13 just to flip him like a month or two later is still a bunch of free value.

If I bought a stock for $10 if it went to $50 in a few weeks, don’t I think could be mad I sold it even though it went up to $200.

Lord knows I held way too many stocks already and rode the rollar coaster back down.

These week 17 benched starter games are a nice little preview of some younger guys if the offseason leads to more opportunities.

Looking at Iosivas in Cincy if Tee Higgins moves on; AT Perry in New Orleans; a little bit of Chase Brown and Josh Downs, though to a much lesser degree.

Anyone else get any sneak peaks of young guys coming off the bench this week?

Noah Gray is making his case for anyone else. Thought I'd see more from Xavier Gipson.

I got most points, should be $140 to me, $60 to BF
$20 back to the person with most points accumulated during the regular season.
$120 for the winner.
$60 for 2nd place

Caleb Williams' dad and his business ideas seem like a problem.

But if it keeps him off the Bears and I get to draft my hometown area college QB potential phenom without him playing for our rival and a team who has little hope of developing a rookie QB into something viable, it will be worth it.

If you're the one holding the pot for 2024, just send $120 and mark me down as paid.
