From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
Yeah, this is a good cut of data. The 2nd quarter is what stands out to me. The most attempts, completions, yards and TD's, but also the lowest completion %, the lowest passer rating, and by far the most interceptions.

I would say this data shows exactly what yoop is saying about Love being a slow starter. His 1st half stats are significantly worse than his 2nd half stats. Ive felt hes started slow all season but this data definitely proves it.
All I see is Love just needs to cut out the interceptions in the 2nd quarter.
Otherwise yards, TDs, are nearly identical half to half.

The INTs stand out but for me its the difference in completion percentage. His yards per completion are a lot higher too. I think we have seen quite a few 3 and outs this season or one first down and out but we need more offensive consistency and early in games.

that's a main point, to me the goal has to be moving the chains, and less of a reliance on big chunkers, jmo, but to often we see Jordan throwing hard to catch short passes, that one to Reed is just one example, we all know we've seen some other donkers, I don't know, lack of chemistry and timing with receivers, or we have not been adjusting our routes and defenses have our blue print
Last year Love seemed so much better at the quick pitch, just don't see it so much this year, the throwing receivers into big hits just riles me, when he's good, he's really good, when........
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
That was on a 1st half, third down incompletion play in Detroit territory, if I remember correctly. Resulted in a punt. Had it been called, may have changed the complexion of the game.
Green Bay has had 35 years of being the top dog. This results in a strong road presence but also results in home fans selling their seats as the pent up passion isn't there during a good season like a Lions team would see (since we pretty much always have good seasons)
I'll give you 29 years, not 35. But the 20 before 1995 pretty much sucked for the Packers. From 1971 to 1994 the Packers had 5 winning seasons, and 4 right at .500. And it was pretty easy for fans of other teams to get tickets during that time frame.
1992 to 1994 should be included in the 29 (+3 = 32). 1992 was when the excitement started to ramp up with the signing of Mike Holmgren and Brett Favre, and subsequently Reggie White in 1993 (Jurkovic wore #92 in 1992). I know I was all amped up at the time along with thousands of others. The TD pass from Favre to Kitrick Taylor initiated a Packers fan frenzy that has not dissipated. GO PACK GO!!
...aside from a couple of Mike Sherman years. And the Ray Rhodes experiment.
