Even if he LOVES Green Bay, why would he even consider signing such a low deal?
Why did Melvin Gordon? Where does Aaron Jones fit in the pecking order? Aaron Jones gets no love from the national media, so doesn't have that in his pocket. Why are we so sure he can demand what Mixon got as a starting point? I wouldn't, but I think, in general, many pundits would make Mixon over Jones, yes?
You’re more knowledgeable then me, but Jones gets plenty of love - Mixon not so much. I bet 90% of people would take Jones over Mixon. This is a “what have you done for me lately” league. Time will tell but I’d imagine Jones will want a heck of a lot more then 3 years for $30 million.

You are probably right, but a guy can hope. Just for the heck of it, this is what these two have done side-by-side since being drafted.

Mixon is good, very good even with a down year last year. He’s been basically the only weapon on that offense.

That just might get be back on YTTV. I cut it when sports went away, and wasn’t planning to come back after latest price increase.

I would wager that something working in Mixons favor is the bengals suck and probably don’t have too many people to Pay in the next couple years and may see him as a corner stone to the team as they build with Burrow.

Jones is at a place with lots of people to pay, and a high draft pick behind him. Probably will hurt him. However, I hope we make Jones very rich bc he is one of my favorite packers in many years.

i think it is really funny that Nagy thinks he is giving his team some magical advantage by not naming his starting qb until game day. Such a gimmicky coach and move. One of the QBs isnt Mike Vick, and this isnt college football. He should take a note from a real coach like bill belichik and name the starter a week out. That way the new starter can take all the first team reps in practice leading up to game week and really take control of the team. The new guy can show his leadership. Coach can instill confidence in the starting qb by sending the message "this is our guy now and we are going to beat you with him". This gimmick seems like he lacks confidence in either.

I didn’t even realize he was a Raider.

So seems like everyone lost the Kizer/Randall trade, lol.

Former packer first round DBs getting cut for very little savings

We also got 2 upgraded draft picks in that trade that ultimately became Oren Burks and Cole Madison.

So... yeah.

I was about to post that.

We easily lost the Kizer trade. We lost initially by wasting a first round pick on Randall. Then we traded to get Kizer who couldn’t even see out his contract and with the upgraded picks we got Burks and that soft wet blanket Madison.

QB updates:

Alex Smith going to make the 53 man roster, $16 million guaranteed salary for making roster.

Mitch Trubisky week 1 starter over Foles

Josh Rosen released after no trade partner found.

When was the last time a top 10 QB didn’t make it 26 months on his rookie contract.

Turd biscuit wins. Also the Broncos cut one of their former starters at ILB. Wonder if the Pack takes a look.
