Interesting, what team will go for it. Jets obviously will try, probably Chiefs and Chargers but doubt the Raiders trade in the division. Bills, Ravens, 49ers, Cowboys, Saints, Falcons, Vikings, even Buccaneers possibly
There’s a salary cap impact to comsider, as well. I believe it’s upwards of $25mil this year.
25 this year, 44 the next two years.

Only like 16/34/36 or something like that. And the new team doesn’t have to pay the full 16, just the portion of the season he’s on their team.
You posted his current cap hits. Any of the prorated bonuses stay with LV. The new team is only on the hook for the salaries and any unpaid bonus.

WOW. Saleh fired as Jets coach. Wonder if he'd consider an advisor role with us considering the ties to MLF.

'Just looked at the five games they've played. Saleh as HC is mainly in charge of the D, and the Jets D has held all opponents other than SF to under 20 (MIN scored 23 but 7 of that came off of a pick-six). They are the first defense to make Sam Darnold look like Sam Darnold. It is absolutely ridiculous to look at where they are right now and conclude, "you know what will help? Firing Robert Saleh!"
LOL JETS!

If his puppet, Hackett, gets the interim job, I think we can read all there is to read from this situation.

I would appreciate this situation a little more if they grew a pair of balls and just named Rodgers the interim HC.

promoting Hackett makes the most sense, Rodgers and the Hack have had a good relationship, after all comradery, friendship, is important too

timing is not our friend, actually I think if I were Saleh, I take a seat, and wait for another HC gig.

no way he gets another HC gig. He could never figure out the QB, and even if you are a defensive guy...that falls on you. He would be hired in an instant as a DC tho.

This is a recycling league and he's young. He'll get another shot at HC. But most likely a 2-3 year DC position first. Bring him in as a consultant here. He's MLF's buddy.

None of it matters if they can’t figure it out up front. They offer no protection. I don’t care who the QB is

they brought in Tyron Smith LT, and a few others besides drafting Fashanu to fix that OL, and they still suck, maybe instead of firing Saleh they should have fired the OL coach
