I don’t know about 2+ Super Bowls, but rape accusations sound about right.
You don’t “know” about 2+ Super Bowls, but you know...
I don't know &%$@. Not a chance Ben would have led this team any farther than Rodgers has.
Big Ben can play in the cold. Big Ben doesn’t mind handing the ball off. Big Ben is a winner.

Big Ben beats the Seahawks in 2014 and goes on to win the championship.

I mean, even Rex GROSSman would've won all the SBs for us, if we had had more 1st round receivers. ;)

Being a homer is a full time job. I get it though.

Lol sorry for the take but I do think Rodgers is more “talented”, but I think Big Ben is a winner. I always liked his game. He would have brought home more than one title to GB. Rodgers likes not throwing picks, Ben likes winning playoffs games in the same AFC as Brady and Manning.

That you are not a homer or I dont know what a homer is? Or that being a homer is a full time job?

Ben likes not having Dom Capers as a DC for 8 years. Nobody is winning a title with those atrocious defenses.

Bens gotten alot of coordinators fired. Ben wouldnt have sat idle while a DC prevents SB victories. Rodgers problem in those years is he just "assumed" he would get back to the biggest stage. I think he took it as a fact he would be back after 2010. Then, year after year it just didnt happen.

I also think ben scores more than one offensive TD in last years playoffs to defeat SF and advance in the playoffs.

Ben never played scared, I'll give him that. I think he would have thrown multiple picks last year against SF and gotten blown out though.

I think it has less about being a homer and more about overrating how good Big Ben is.

Tough, but fair.

I do think 2021 Ben would have lost, but I was more comparing prime Ben to current Rodgers (as Rodgers is still in prime according to MVP vote)

If only there was some sort of high-stakes game when both QBs were in their primes that we could look to to compare their outcomes.....

Ben sucks now as he is old and broken down. Ben was a very underrated QB who never had a losing season as a starter, was a 2x SB champs, and played against prime Brady and Manning throughout his career. And he always went toe to toe in the heavy weight fight. Tough as nails.

was the problems on defense due to Capers, Injury's, or Teddy T, all 3 I suppose, Ted missed on a lot of high defensive picks, and year after year we lost all starters at one position or another, Capers is just a scape goat.

Rothlisberger was Iron Man 2, But the Steeler defenses where the catalyst to those two SB victory's, actually most of there big games relied more on defense then Ben.

We had guys like Erik Walden playing linebacker, which is terrible for any DC. But that 2-5 scheme that we ALWAYS seemed to use was absolutely moronic. It'd be a 3rd and 3 against SF and our defense would be in the 2-5. No excuse for it IMO.

Agree about the Pitt defenses.

And even the new hot topic issue is that defense no longer matters to winning. Pittsburg had the #1 defense in the league, Packers #2.
