I think once GB lost Rodgers, all the leverage shifted to Love. I mean what the heck was GB going to do if Love played hardball? They’ve invested 3 years into this guy and have a rookie draft pick behind him. That’s it.

I think GB picks up Loves 5th year if they had to in the end. Oh well tho, great deal for GB!

Just hope it isn’t a true barometer of what they think of him.

what was Love going to do, no one was going to pay Love what we did, the money is beyond ridiculous now, why would anyone support paying Love more then we gave him, he's lucky Rodgers signed with the Jets so he didn't have to prove his threat to ask for a trade, he sure wouldn't be making 10 plus mil. this season

This is backup QB money, and Love is the starting QB of the GB Packers.

Jacoby Brisset signed a 2 year 30m deal with the Colts several years ago and he was only the starter for one year lol.

This isn’t 1975. Love is a starting QB in the NFL now.
