Dak Prescott has proven he is a choker in big games and the playoffs. He can’t handle the pressure. I expect the same on Sunday. I see him throwing at least 2 picks.

If Love is on mark and Jones plays well (and doesn’t fumble), the Packers should win.

Oh yea, LaFleur might want to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking a FG. Can’t trust Carlson will make it.
Send a telegram to Matt LaFleur in Green Bay informing him to go for 4th down conversions vice risky field goals. This is a playoff game where you pull out all stops. Telegram is needed because LaFleur has proven that he sometimes lacks critical thinking skills (sometimes, not all the time) and likely will require a friendly reminder. GO PACK GO!
Here is that weird disdain again. LaFleur has actually been good in 4th down decision making:

I am one of those that have never been mad at MLF for being aggressive on offense even when it didn't work out. Just make sure its the right play and the QB/and him are one the exact same page, then live with the outcome.

I have been more irritated with him on end of half clock management. I am sure there are some that will disagree with me, but I dislike when he gets too cute trying manage the clock attempting not to leave time on the clock for other team. There are times for that, but sometimes he needs to trust that offense that they will drive the length of the field (especially now) and get first downs and such. He needs sometimes to save time from the start for the offense to score and think TD, not FG.

I would agree there have been some clock management issues in the past. This past Sunday I would put more on Kraft than anything, but that last play probably should have been end zone or nothing, however I do realize they wanted to get it closer for Carlson.

Okay, this criticism I don't get. I think MLF has been pretty good on 4th downs.

I tend to think his criticism is more directed at our Kicker, but thats jmo, Carlson has been unreliable :idn:

I just hope Carlson's first kick attempt is an XP rather than a FG. He seems to struggle most on that first kick and then settles in. Minimize the damage type thing. Maybe I have memory bias, though. He hasn't been great but, then again, I'm used to it with the Packers.

hey your getting blamed, or rewarded on Carlson no matter what :rotf: :rotf:

I tend to think when the kicker see's a poor snap or hold it can be a mental block, to me it often dooms the kick, jmo

It's like when a QB gets bomb barded with pressure early, it will take time for him to not check pass rush potential on every snap, imo every little negative thing can have a lasting affect on a player :idn:

Hold on, now. I was a strong advocate for moving on from Crosby, not necessarily pushing for Carlson. If Carlson ain't Him, I'm all for moving on again. I'm also all for letting Carlson fail before I declare him a failure. His brother struggled early, too, just to become All-Pro after the Vikings moved on from him.

First guess from top of my head and highly biased against this week's opponent: Mike McCarthy

who's the most ultra conservative coach, we all think McCarthy, off the top of my head I would guess Belichick, that guy doesn't leave anything to chance, again just guessing though.

wow, I was right, however if we go back 2 years to 2021, Bill led the league with 4th down %, so I guess he's not as conservative as I thought

MM gets a bad rap for being conservative I think because 2014 in Seattle. IMO he did everything he could have to win that game in the road against a historic defense and that $%@# $%@# $%@# $%&# messed up the onside.

The fact that in 2015 we went to OT with no WRs or 2017 making it to the NFCC with no CBs on top of winning a SB is remarkable. MM is the 2nd best coach in Packers history IMO. LaFleur can snatch it but MM was a great coach.

Very close with him and Holmgren. Holmgren had more talent, especially 1994+.
