I'm so old I have a significant history of whining about Favre on the forum, lol.

Oh, ok. So you've been here a year or two.
Ha!

Welcome to the new forum, Matt! ‘Bout time you made it here!
Never thought I'd be so happy to see that ugly face.

If we had practice squads, or bigger rosters, I would totally move down from 1.08 and accumulate picks, but I simply don't have room.

I've been over my team once. Man, what happened to my WR's, used to be the clear strength of my team.
We are about a week away from July. When are we drafting? I am pretty sure I have asked like 50 times, am I that annoying kid that won't stop pestering mom?

Going to need it to start after July 8.

Well, since we aren't really on a timer, we could start any time. Right?

Do I not exist? Do we just keep pretending this hasn't been answered?
But I don't know why the co-commissioner who has scheduled the past 2 drafts can't get it through to people that the draft schedule question has, in fact, been answered.
If we need to push it a couple days or a week for 23, so be it.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑04 May 2020 09:40Below I have the past two years' schedules. Building off of that, I propose the following for this year:
July 6, 2020 (Monday) - Rookie draft begins
- Drafted players added to the rosters by commissioners
- If you have more than 4 draft picks, ensure that you have roster space for all picks
July 20, 2020 (Monday) - Waiver open; add/drop permitted within player limit, until....
September 7th (Labor Day, Monday) - Cutdown Day. All rosters must be at 29 active + 3 IR by noon.
Quibble with those dates if you must. Or... make it easy and let's all go with the flow

July 23, 2018 (Monday) - Waivers open; add/drop permitted with 36-player roster limit until...
August 28 (Friday before Labor Day weekend) - cutdown day. All rosters must be at 29 active + 3 IR by noon.Rosters are locked throughout the offseason. Roster Maximum set at 36 players, 0 IR (29 + 3 IR + 4 eventual draft picks is a fair cutoff). Trades are, of course, still permitted.
July 8, 2019 (Monday) - Rookie draft begins
- Drafted players added to the rosters by commissioners
- if you have more than 4 draft picks, ensure that you have roster space for all picks
July 22, 2019 (Monday) - Waivers open; add/drop permitted with 36-player roster limit until...
September 2 (Labor Day) - cutdown day. All rosters must be at 29 active + 3 IR by noon.
(NFL final roster cuts are Saturday August 31, so I wanted to push back our cuts until after that, but still have enough time for waivers prior to week 1)

HAHA, you exist YoHo, and you are a rockstar! For some reason when I read that in early May I just looked at past years and breezed past your proposal.
I would be cool with all of your dates!
