I think it makes sense to try guys around. Play matchups and play the hot hand.
When we play the Bears with decent TEs and crap WRs, makes sense for Savage to play there more than a given week. With the Vikings and Jefferson, be inclined to get Jaire in there more. But prolly will be Sullivan most of the time when healthy.
this started out with Barry wanting multiple player fits in that position, so not surprised we saw 4 players auditioning for snaps there.
I'am thinking Barry will be moving Savage around a lot, his little acrobat act to pick off the Adams bobble was beautiful, so I'd like to see him roaming around hyjacking some more errant passes, he's quick on his feet with brains to match

The thing with moving Savage depends on whether or not someone else can man the FS position. It doesn’t make sense to move a player somewhere just to leave a hole where that player was. If another safety emerges then I think Savage is perfect for the role. If not play a CB there field a complete defense… minus the linebackers because they’re all bad.

Henry Black has been getting a lot of snaps because Redmond is out. Amos has been the most "in the box guy" but I think Savage and Amos could be interchanged.
Only thing I am hearing about Black is Nagler says he likes contact which is a nice thing to hear. Excited to see Vernon Scott and Henry Black this preseason.

I was super high on Scott coming out of the draft. He’s one of the guys I’m most interested in watching during the preseason if the camera is able to keep him on screen. I refuse to buy the all 22.

Yeah, technology being what it is, that is a super-frustrating, inferior product.

who knows with Campbell, coaches seem to think he might be the best ILB in coverage since Barnett.
depends how lock down your edge CB's are, with Alexander being so good at it then your FS only has to cover 1/2 the field, why waste the talents of a guy like Savage, when ya don't need a player with his range and ability back there, Savage needs to be free to roam, he was at his best when doing that last year
