Griffin did not seem like a smart hire. He is an inexperienced D-minded coach, neither of those things make sense for a team in win-now mode and with so many guys on the roster that are prolific at scoring on offense.
If you are a defensive-minded coach, you better not suck and get results... where have I heard that before?
And their defense has been some of the worst in the league. So not sure what the hell he was doing.
More rumors say it'll be Doc if he agrees, and if not, Kenny Atkinson.
I remember being so excited about getting Dame in that trade. Now? Not so much. Dude just hasn't been good. Not anywhere near consistent, anyway. I don't know what happened to him (yeah, yeah...divorce blah blah blah) but he's legitimately becoming more a liability than asset. I hope the AS break gets him right.
They’re definitely playing better since the AS break. A marked turnaround on the defensive side of the ball. There may be hope for them to put it together this season after all.
Dame still not playing like he should though. Giannis has certainly stepped his game up though.
Dame really never was a consistent day-in, day-out scorer. I just have very little doubt that when the lights get brighter in April and May he will respond. That's why they got Dame. If we needed another regular season banner, they would not have made the move.
If PatBev were playing for, say, Miami I'd hate him. I love that he is on the Bucks, though. Just a high energy, tenacious, in-your-face player that brings the energy every night. He and Bobby on the court at the same time are fun to watch.
Great win against a quality Clippers team last night without Giannis playing. These guys are really starting to gel together. It's gonna be Milwaukee and Boston duking it out in the East and then everybody else a distant also-ran.

Sure looks that way, but I won't look past Miami, again. Right now, sitting at #7 in the Conference could be our opening round opponent, again. Just vibes of Packers vs 49ers. Getting past that, this Celtics team is unfortunately the best version they have put on the court in a decade. That is going to be a tough ECF with very likely no home court advantage.
Reported as a calf strain but he's already been ruled out for remainder of regular season and is questionable to play in the first round.
The Bucks have the talent and should be able to get through the first round without him. They need to play like it, though. The inconsistency is maddening. My hope is that with GA out of the lineup, Lilliard takes hold of leadership reigns and plays like the superstar he's supposed to be. We've only seen glimpses of that player since his arrival. It's time for him to pay dividends on the move that brought him to Milwaukee.
