Packers were absolutely dominant in 2011 a historically good O and a below average to bad D.
Chiefs have one of the best D’s in the league and a very underperforming O.
If by the comparison, you mean not as good as their record, sure, but that’d be about it. But even then, Packers were earning their record.

I think we were certainly as good as our record, but it resulted in way too many winner's Mondays when they should have been focusing on flaws that kept popping up. Since it didn't cost them regular season games there was one less day to emphasize what they were doing wrong or could be doing better. But the O fell apart, and I wonder how much Philbin showing up on game day after his son's tragedy played into the mindset of the team. I'm sure it was good for him to focus on something else but I don't think it benefited the team? But who knows.

The Buc's lost both their No. 1 and No. 2 WRs (Evans and Godwin) for the foreseeable future last night.

If makes sense if you believe you're a legit Superbowl contender right now yet you don't trust Sam Darnold not to regress (history supports distrusting Darnold, even when he starts the year strong), whereas Stafford OTOH has shown that when placed on a playoff-caliber team, he can take them all the way. With JJ, Addison, Hock, AJ, he would cook.
I don't think they will make that trade, but I think it's a sound all-in kind of a move.

Darnold has great skill players on offense while Stafford has not had his playmakers at WR and his team is generally depleted due to injury. Stafford is still the better player today.
More to the point, most would rightly feel more comfortable with Stafford at QB in the playoffs than Darnold. Stafford has been there and gone the distance. Darnold has not even led his team as a starter to the playoffs, much less the SB.

Stafford would be a great guy to have around For JJ McCarthy. No idea if McCarthy will be ready to play by next year yet.
Sam Darnold has been play pretty well, but I’m not sure he passes the smell test. Think I saw he lead the league in turnover worthy plays from a clean pocket, a few week ago at least. Little luck on his side many aren’t being caught. Where I think we’d argue nearly all Love’s turnover worthy plays all have been caught, including a few ints that weren’t even his fault.
Did say I don’t believe the Vikings are a January threat, certainly not on par with the Lions. Stafford might swing that perception.

I'd take Stafford over Darnold. He's the better QB. Darnold is similar to Foles. Limited, but serviceable. Can play really well when pressure is not on them to make plays, ST's, defense are putting them in great positions and run game and pass catchers are all making life easy for QB. Everyone was high on Foles for a while, but he really never was that good, he was just in a very good situation for a limited time.
Darnold doesn't have the luxury of only needing to perform for half a season. By the time playoffs roll around I believe teams have him figured out again in this new offense for him. He's going to feel pressure and his level of play is going to degrade significantly.

I look at Stafford as early on emulating Favre the gunslinger. Then as he played against AR he brought himself under control and was a better all around player. If he plays till 40 he's got a HOF shot. Might have one now if they want to throw a bone to Lions fans.

I think it would be around $75M dead cap hit if Rams trade Stafford now. $50M+ cap hits over the next two years. The only thing that makes a little bit of sense is that Darnold only signed a one year deal and boy is gonna get paid. Vikes can just slap the tag on for a year, though, so it still doesn't make one lick of sense to me.
