that video only shows the yardage at the catch point, not from the toss point, again the Logos are probably at the 50, so it is not a 60 yrd toss.
So does your vast football knowledge not let you deduce that in college the X for the kickoff is at the 35 and Love threw it from 12/13 yards behind that?
Where did I say it was a 60 yard toss. You are moving the goalposts now because you realize you were wrong.

again don't take my word for any other this, talk to a person you RESPECT, that goes for anyone here, if ya believe Love has a strong arm ask Sullivan or Herman etc, I think they'll say the same as I did.
You do it and stop being lazy. You claimed he doesn't have a strong arm. No one says the same thing you do.

So basically we're talking about 53 yard and 55 yard passes.

I know you have been watching football for a long time but the way yardlines work is you count up to 50 approaching mid-field and count down to zero approaching the EZ.

So what you are seeing is not the "45" but indeed the "35"

thats not even the play I'am referencing, go back a page it's the pass to REED,
so am I.
do you seriously not think I know how the numbers work on a football field? that ball didn't go over 44 yrds tops, and forget the hash yrdage, it only adds half of what you claim to boot.

Yep, but since yoop moved the goalpost, it is now 60 yards that Love could never hit on his best day.

Yikes. I would just stop.

Or maybe, just answer this question. What is 13 + 38?

you and your posse are the people claiming he has a strong arm when obviously he has not shown it, in fact he puts air under almost every pass.

and not all college fields have the logo's at the 20, or at least didn't use to, actually I have no need to know distance when it comes to Love, all I have to do is watch the receiver stop and wait for his passes on just about everything 40 yrds or longer.

again I want to point it though, that I've not damned Love over this, you and others seem more concerned over it then I'am, other wise you wouldn't be so defensive about it, plenty of QB's had long careers with wimpy arms :rotf: :rotf:

Jordan Love can't throw the ball longer than 40 yards and two clips were shown of the ball traveling 53 yards and 55 yards and yoop says it's only 40 yards.

It's not opinion. It's math.

Pass A:
Pass was thrown on Packers 37/36 yardline and caught at the Lions 12/11 yardline which is a 51 - 53 yard pass.

I'm not going to get into the specifics of the college pass because he won't accept Pass A.

this happens weekly.

But this one I admit is about the most concrete black/white situation on this forum that just can't be accepted.

I'm honestly shocked. I know I shouldn't be but I am shocked.

Quite frankly I should and have been ignoring more but I also don't want disinformation to be spoken so regularly that it eventually becomes as accepted fact.
This is definitely where I am at.

wahhhhh ha, ask Acrobat, he knows how to add :rotf: I did learn how to do simple math back in the 50's they actually taught it then too, but I've gotten pretty stubborn now this last page, and now mostly I'am just laughing at you folk for thinking ya pulled a fast one on me.

I think Love will have to provide more proof for u's folks to see my point, which is that Love will always struggle with accuracy deep, and it's because he can't drive a deep ball, he has to put to much air under it, was it you 23 that brought Rodgers deep hail Mary, that was a 60 plus yrd bomb, tons of air, again I don't think Love could ever make that throw, and thats OK, as long as the shorter ones are accurate.

I will give yoop massive credit though.

In the spring of 2009, yoop was clamouring hard for a certain player coming into the draft that I really never heard of. The guy was targeted as a late Day 1/early Day 2 pass rush prospect but never really played in college.

Yoop just loved him. Brought him up all the time and Ted Thompson was listenting because we made a trade up with New England to bring in this guy.

His name was Clay Matthews.

Just to be clear we are not talking math. We are talking about understanding how the yardline markers work on a football field.

No one feels they pulled a fast one on you. It would have just been a lot easier on you if you had said "oh yeah I watched the video again and the ball indeed did travel more than 40 yards. My bad, let's move on". Instead, you dig your heels in the ground so hard that you end up arguing an opinion that is factually proven wrong. Just trying to give you advice man. It's ok to be wrong sometimes, admit it, and move on.

Love has a below average to average arm.
Evidence: stats, game tape and play calls.

show that, I want to see a yrd marker that shows the ball left his hand at the 36 or 37 yrd marker, that clip doesn't.

I have seen nothing that shows Love tossed a 50 plus yrd reception ever in his life, not college or pro, maybe he has, I watched a lot of his college vids, never seen it
