Perhaps someone should tell the king of flops the NBA ratings are (and have been) trending downward for some time. Perhaps if they put a better product out there the NFL wouldn't feel compelled to bull their way into the Christmas holiday programming.

I'll be curious to see the television ratings between NBA and NFL games. My money says the NFL clobbered them.

Yep. The NFL clobbered them. I don’t even need to see the NBA numbers.

The Bucks suck. Do we need another in-season tourney to get good again?

I didn't get my hopes us much when I saw they were going to try to run it back with Doc. In retrospect, Griffin was not all that bad, but I don't get why they went with a D-minded (and new) coach when they traded for Dame with the idea of emphasizing offense. If that was the plan, why wouldn't you try to lean into that and go with a coach who emphasizes offense?

I was at a game about a week ago that they lost to Portland. They just don't seem to have much of an identity.

Anyway, probably time to blow it all up.

Just sayin', i might be a Bucks good luck charm tonight. Finally getting to watch a game. Turned it on down 18-3, now up 16 at the half. Heat butchered the last 10 seconds of the half. Lilliard made them pay.

I finished American Primeval last night and checked in on the Bucks only to see they were down big early. Opted for the Penguins-Ducks. I checked back in later, it was at the start of the 4th quarter, just in time to see the TNT announcement that they were switching to LAL-Boston because the Bucks had the game well in hand.

My Pens, of course, got blown out.

So it goes...

Jimmy Butler now suspended indefinitely from Miami team for walking out of practice after being informed he will be coming off bench going forward.

He's a diva and a headcase, sure, but the man can play some basketball and shows up in the biggest moments.

Should the Bucks attempt a move on him? Not knowing the financial constraints or impacts of the NBA, I'll set that aside out of ignorance.

From a roster perspective, it's apparent Khris Middleton will never be the same guy he was. Dude can still shoot but he moves around the floor like an old man. Those multiple ankle surgeries have taken their toll. I don't think Giannis and Dame are enough to carry the team to the promised land and I don't see another player on the roster to fill the gap.

Dude is a potential cancer and divisive locker room force, however, I guess I wouldn't mind adding Butler for a one-time shot at making a run. I'm wary, though.

I'm very wary. Middleton has started playing better, but needs to kick the rust off.

It's been said Butler doesn't want to play for the Bucks, but rumors persist. Will adding him and removing Middleton and Portis give us a better shot at another championship? I don't know. Is it worth the headache? :idn:

I think the Bucks could make a move and include Middleton in the deal, but not for Jimmy Butler. They seem pretty restricted in the types of moves they can make. This seems like a Packers discussion. No sense in making a move for the sake of making a move. Middleton has actually been good off the bench, but he has lost it and the defensive end of the floor.

Butler is a me-first cancer. I can't imagine the Bucks would actually entertain that idea.
