https://stacker.com/stories/4143/nfl-late-bloomer-qbs
of the 28 QB's in the HOF only 7 started at some point of there rookie season.

Interesting look at how other teams are handling their cap.

That’s a pretty embarrassing list besides a few names.

all went on to be a 10 ten QB's at some point and several are in the HOF, I'd bring the list of drafted QB's that where less then average starters but I'd for sure run out of room and possibly even damage the forum.
thing is average or even slightly better then average would never be good enough for us fans, we are sooooo spoiled.
predicting doom and gloom for QB's prior to them even playing a half doz nfl games is non sensical, you see them miss a receiver in practice and right away he lacks accuracy, never mind that the receiver may be more to blame, ran the route wrong, slow to pitch point, any number of reason could account for the miss, this is just like blaming Rodgers for not seeing Lazard was open for the 2nd time in a game, never mind that he caught a 6 yrd pass the first time.

Lynn Dickey in the mud at County Stadium. Note the stripes below the numerals on the jersey sleeve and Pabst add on the scoreboard.

Interesting for us. But I gotta say, if your JOB is writing about football for a living, it’s a little embarrassing to admit you didn’t already know this.

We may disagree about Love as i think he sucks, but I have no problem with your optimism. Please, keep it up! I won’t try to change your mind. I just hold my own opinions on matters based on the evidence I see with my eyes. You are right that by year 472883838 love very well can become an average QB.

Bears just released Jeremiah Attaochu and I wouldn't mind brought in to compete for edge depth. I'm surprised at how old he is. I thought he was maybe 25/6, but see he's 28, and he never amounted to much, so I'm not going to try to sell the idea of him. I've just always thought he flashed in college and early pros.

I made him into a star on the last madden I played. I believe that was the one with Brady on the cover. I can’t remember if I traded for him or got him off the FA trash heap, but he was a great packer for many years on ps4

I still think he would have made a great WR for us last year.
He was an absolute joy to watch in PS.

A healthy Funchess would definitely be welcome this year. Only 28. Anxious to see what he has in him. No risk high reward signing for the lions.

Lazard actually has quite a bit to go to catch him stat wise. Funchess has played 20 more games without the benefit of a hof qb. Funchess is a more talented player. Not sure what is going on between his ears but I don't get the hate.

Funchess is a pretty talented player but he doesn’t have drive. The guys lazy. Those were the reports out of Michigan was that he wasn’t a hard worker. That was evident in Carolina as well and the first chance he got to collect a check and not play he took it when he was with us. The guy doesn’t love football or have the drive to be great.

Can't argue ur point but the poster said that Funchess is not a good wr. Simply not true.

While I find it rediculous, I think his comments about the Asians eyes during the press conference in preseason put him in the dog house in GB. Shame.
