Who would make less if there was no minimum wage?
I'm just pointing out how what you are saying is exactly why tipping is the way it is now in the food service industry.
Well what laws changed in like the last ~5 years that lead to the tipping norms changing in recent years?
?

You said tipping is the way it is now in the food industry, and were pointing to a low minimum wage as the culprit. What change in the minimum wage laws in the last 5 years that changed tipping norms from 15% to 25% and in all kinds of new situations, in the last 5 years?

I was referring to tipping as a whole, as APBs OP was referring to.

Why does it need to be specific to law changes? I am sure there are a host of reasons why tipping % norms have increased.

Kobe Bryant day, yesterday. This is still one of the most badass random moments in sports.

Jordan > Kobe > Lebron
Concur, albeit the gap between Jordan and Kobe is much smaller than the gap between Kobe and Lebron.
Yes, and I didn't mean to imply that Lebron was even top 3. He has committed far too many turnovers. Also on track for the most missed FG's all time, which kind of dispels the notion that he is this great Magic Johnson type facilitator. Don't get me started.

I had no idea Jaguars were capable of this level kill.

My entire $%@# world is useless and pointless.

Sorry for venting here, but I swear the human race is the dumbest organism on the planet.

Hope you guys enjoy the combine.

Damn, paco.

Sounds like you need a break from things. Don't sweat the small stuff, embrace the things that give you pleasure. Start with expectations for the 2024 Green Bay Packers. :aok:

I mean...wow. Just...wow. A 28 year old man punches this kid, 12, in the FACE and runs away back to this car. I mean....wow, he had a prior record so I don't know. He's serving 7 years.

Would love to! If I ever can get away this year and end up there, I'll let you know.

I do, but its not happening. Such is life. Trying not to embrace the whiskey bottle too much. Will try to find some time to check Packers stuff soon and give some thoughts (safety, safety, corner, linebacker).

May need someone else to throw together and run the draft contest this year.

Speaking of whiskey, did you see Crown came out with a blackberry flavor? Mix it with a bit of ginger ale or lemonade and it is the perfect summer deck cocktail.

not looking to turn this into a political debate, though I know it probably will. But taxes suck! Getting my first real variable comp bonus from my job tomorrow. I just hit 25 years with the company I'm at. The vast majority of those years were fighting to get hired on and rightly compensated for the work I do. But I'm there now. My first full year and the bonus math worked in our favor this year.

But Uncle Sam decided he'd like a third of my money. Didn't realize he had such a heavy hand in my work this past year, but perhaps I'm not giving him enough credit. Nice job Uncle Sam! Buy yourself something nice.

But enough complaining! I've got a nice bonus! I should stick it into the house, plenty that needs fixing. But I need to do something for myself. Might splurge on that new TV finally. Or put some away for a vacation. Can I book hotel for the Green Bay draft yet?

Can thank tRump for that. Signed in 2017 a tax hike from 21-27 for the middle man.

My paycheck went up $300 (same gross).

Every bracket was reduced, so your statement is a lie.

So you post a political statement (lie). I refute it validly. You post an article that does not support your original statement. Then I'm directed to the Podium?
