I was thinking about that. I think the Saints still have us beat in this waylake shark wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:24TheGreenMan wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:19Someone dropped the Bills in here earlier. Guty needs to decide on one of two choices.
1. Pay Rodgers and Adams, while cutting a host of other players. Accept a winning season and fall short of a ring, or maybe even a playoff win.
2. Release/trade Rodgers and Adams. Retool. Rebuild.
I’ll accept either choice. But Guty cannot waffle in between and think that Rodgers and Adams get the ring by themselves, even while Rodgers gets two more MVPs along the way.
I believe GB has fully replaced and superseded the Bills as the choke job team - we just don’t want to admit it.

i mean as far as offensive production...WRs getting open was absolutely a problem tonight, like 100%. Cobb and "War Daddy Lizard" and end around ESB were covered by CB5s and CB6s all night and couldnt separate.

I’m wondering how much Lewis’ fumble early played into Rodgers not wanting to get the ball to anybody not named Adams/Jones. For that matter, I wonder how much that played into MLF’s mind.texas wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:18Yeah we have historically sucked when he has done this, and we have historically been good when he spreads the ball around even to bums.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:14I don’t disagree with that. Seemed like Rodgers was so dialed in on only Adams that he wouldn’t use anybody else.

I guess 1st round receiving threats aren't as much of a panacea as they would have us believe.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑23 Jan 2022 00:27I’m wondering how much Lewis’ fumble early played into Rodgers not wanting to get the ball to anybody not named Adams/Jones. Was there ANOTHER play where ST only had TEN players on the field?
Oh, that is entirely on the ST coach.

I would also like to take a serious look about MLF. He is a nice guy - as well as MM before him. Now many fans detect soft play as one constant in our futile quest to get to another SB after 2011. Coincidence? Do we need a more badass coach?
If he doesn't fire Drayton, then yes. Otherwise no.German_Panzer wrote: ↑23 Jan 2022 01:14I would also like to take a serious look about MLF. He is a nice guy - as well as MM before him. There really wasn’t “soft play” imo except for the long snapper on the punt block. Most of it was just dumb O play of running Jones up the middle every time and street ball passing.German_Panzer wrote: ↑23 Jan 2022 01:14I would also like to take a serious look about MLF. The GB D line obliterated them. Barnes was crushing fools. Only thing D sucked at was covering the TE post.

This D has had problems covering TEs for a while now. Otherwise I agree. The D was not the problem. ST was. With an average ST unit we are playing next Sunday.

Well, the Giants lost the NFL championship game in 1958, 1959, 1961, 1962 and 1963.lake shark wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:24TheGreenMan wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:19Someone dropped the Bills in here earlier. Rodgers is not as intelligent as many think. He is stubborn to a fault, which is not indicative of a truly intelligent person. With the exception of 2010, he has not been able to lead his team to playoff success.BF004 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022 23:44Will take a little time to emotionally think about this, but I think he is done as a packer.
I think he is so light years ahead of Love intellectually and prolly will be forever, over every other Qb who has ever played.
But we’re just not gunna have a good of team on paper with cap reasons.
Matt had to make special teams #1 priority or even qb this year, figure it out after that.

I’d be looking at that blocked figgy to see if Lancaster or somebody blocked nobody. If that was a 100% negligent play, I’d fire the guy already. Thinking like $%&# botching that onside kick in Seattle kind of fired.
