Gronk re-retired. I get the sense he "got" while the getting was good. Buc's wave has crested and it's all a wash from here on out.

Fivehead is still one of my all time favorite nicknames.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑23 Jun 2022 12:08It's amazing how reliable it is that Manning genes produce a face that just looks dumb. They're obviously smart guys. But they sure do have that open-mouth, big-forehead thoughtless brain feel to them
I believe TE U is a George Kittle thing, gets a handful for guys around to do some training, education, etc. for TE's. Kittle and Tonyan are real good buddies.Yoop wrote: ↑24 Jun 2022 10:26never heard of TE U before, anyway Big Bobby's running and he looks to be doing so effortlessly, and expects to be ready to play when the season starts.

I think extending Gary now would be very, very smart. But I don't think it's in the best interest of Gary at all. He will make way more money if he has plays this year and stacks success from last year.Yoop wrote: ↑24 Jun 2022 10:54Josh Alper

Edge rusher Rashan Gary has steadily increased his playing time and production over three seasons in the NFL and that made a decision on exercising his fifth-year option an easy one for the Packers this offseason.
The Packers picked up the option, which guarantees Gary’s $10.892 million salary for the 2023 season. A longer extension could take the place of that deal, but Gary said that such thoughts aren’t at the forefront of his mind as he heads toward the season.
“That would be my dream. That would be my dream. But I’ve got to keep my head down and work and not look too far ahead or all this talk is just talk,” Gary said, via Bill Huber of SI.com.

Makes sense, KIttle has been one of the best, getting a group together helps everyone, Fitzgerald did the same with WR's, he called it his speed school I think, thing is players get to learn from the best.BF004 wrote: ↑24 Jun 2022 10:59I believe TE U is a George Kittle thing, gets a handful for guys around to do some training, education, etc. for TE's. I have a feeling Gary sees he has a great chance to put up some big numbers leading to a whole another level of a contract vs what he'd get now. I usually would advice players to take the sure guarantees vs the injury risk, but in Gary's case, I'd roll the dice.go pak go wrote: ↑24 Jun 2022 11:16I think extending Gary now would be very, very smart. just the word stacking got me excited, I've been stack less to long
Our strategy of trying to draft good players, then trying to resign those good players, hasn't resulted in recent Super Bowls. We should probably try to do something different.
