Rank The Roster: 2022 Edition
1. Aaron Rodgers (62%)[--]
2. Kenny Clark (43%)[+3]
3. Jaire Alexander (44%)[--]
4. David Bakhtiari (40%)[--]
5. Current (xx%)[--]
Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).
Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Sorry, we've had a run of covid through the house, I forgot to put it up earlier this week.
Jones is still my top target, then Jenkins.
Interestingly, thus far 3 of the top 4 are exactly the same, the only change is Clark replacing Davante. Much of the action changing the pecking order doesn't seem like its going to start until closer to 10.

This tier for me is Jones, Campbell, Gary, Amos, and Jenkins.
I'm not sure how I would order them yet, but the previous discussion about Campbell was pretty persuasive. I'll go with him for now, but I could change my mind.

Jenkins and Gary clear 1 and 2 for me here.
Then ya got Jones, Dillon, Preston, Campbell, Amos, in no particular order.
Then we prolly looking Stokes, Myers, Wyatt, Walker, Savage, Rasul, Dean, Watson, Watkins, Lazard, Cobb…
Definitely beauty in the eye of the beholder in that last group.

To me, this is Rashan Gary with Elgton Jenkins also being considered. They are the total package of youth, production, and star potential. I give Gary the lean in terms of positional importance and probably still the highest ceiling of anyone on the roster.

Yawn. Still Gary. I can see Jenkins voters but for me we don't know when he will be ready to go. I don't see a Bak situation but off the field does not help the team.
Gary for every reason the last 3 votes

I'll select Jones each day and every day and NO ONE else till he's voted in.

I have to say that in such a tightly contested tier of players, I'm pretty shocked that voting on guys with the most impact on the 2022 roster, a guy who might start the year on the PUP is not being penalized for that. Jenkins isn't even in my top 5 remaining at the moment, only due to injury status, no disrespect.
It is Gary's time, stop being silly everyone.

we all hope Bahk is completely healed, same for Jenkins, but I agree, how can I vote either above players that are 100% and have a record of huge production.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑11 May 2022 14:47I have to say that in such a tightly contested tier of players, I'm pretty shocked that voting on guys with the most impact on the 2022 roster, a guy who might start the year on the PUP is not being penalized for that. I look at it a little bit differently. Most impact on 2022 doesn't require a guy to play all 17 games. I guess it should be factored in there somewhere, but I am looking at it more "if we get to January, these are the most important guys on our roster", POV.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑11 May 2022 14:47I have to say that in such a tightly contested tier of players, I'm pretty shocked that voting on guys with the most impact on the 2022 roster, a guy who might start the year on the PUP is not being penalized for that. Now that’s logic I like.NCF wrote: ↑11 May 2022 15:37I look at it a little bit differently. Most impact on 2022 doesn't require a guy to play all 17 games. Me to, thats why I've been voting for Jones, we are thin at veteran skill positions, Jones was our #2 last year, missed a game and played dinged up in others, still had 50 catches and 1200 yrds total, so when it comes to expectations for increased player production, Jones tops my list, expected 1500 total yrds for Jones last year, same for this year.BF004 wrote: ↑11 May 2022 17:12Now that’s logic I like.NCF wrote: ↑11 May 2022 15:37I look at it a little bit differently. Jenkins seems to be winning by virtue of being everyone's second choice.
To this point, I'm just casting one vote. Voting twice is (to me) for when we get more into the weeds.

Are we voting for the top players or the top players that will play? I like Gary a lot but to me Jenkins is the better overall player so I went Jenkins and then Gary.Backthepack4ever wrote: ↑11 May 2022 12:19Yawn. Still Gary. Gary is my top choice.
After that it is a tossup between Dillon, Stokes and Campbell. This time I closed my eyes and pointed and it was Stokes, last time it was Dillon.
Technically Jenkins would be next but after Bakh, no way I vote for a lineman coming off an ACL until the #10 range. Bakh should never have gone that high either.

I've been voting for Jenkins since #2, so he's obviously my top choice. I've got Jones next, but just as easily pick Gary here too.
