Rank The Roster: 2022 Edition

1. Aaron Rodgers (62%)[--]
2. Kenny Clark (43%)[+3]
3. Jaire Alexander (44%)[--]
4. David Bakhtiari (40%)[--]
5. Elgton Jenkins (29%)[+3]
6. Rashan Gary (51%)[+4]
7. DeVondre Campbell (51%)[+26]
8. Current (xx%)[--]

Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Jones is a layup here, obvi my #1.

However, next is kind of tough. Dillon, Stokes, Myers, Amos I think all could go here. I picked Dillon but could be swayed. I guess I'm pretty opinionless when it comes to the safeties and where they belong, though Amos should go before Savage imho. I really liked what I saw out of Stokes, that kid can play. Myers was ridiculously seamless, though its hard for a center to be impactful enough to rate super high, they can be, but Myers isn't (yet) that guy.

Could it be possible that our top TWO receivers by receptions are RB's, Jones and Dillon? I think our #3 RB is also going to be quite impactful this year, Hill looked like a Jones clone before he got hurt.

I went with Jones and Amos.

I just have so much respect for Adrian Amos. Dillon is probably after Amos though.

Jones and Amos here.

Not completely dead set on Amos next, so make your Stokes or Myers or Preston arguments.

Jones ends this tier for me.

Then a big old group of reds.

Am I the only one starting to consider Stokes and Douglas?

Both in this tier for me.

Picked Jones only.

It's a great thing that this tier has lasted this long. Essentially 8/22 starters are All-Pro candidates, and there are a few in next tier who could make the jump. And those 8 include all premium positions.

Jones and Dillon.

More a positional thing as far as production. Can’t say who will be the better producer this year but it’s clear, with the state of the WR room, that the offense is gonna lean more heavily on the RBs. They’ll go back-to-back for me…until I’m swayed elsewhere for the billionth time.

I think too early for Rasul. Same reason Devondre didn’t got #2 convincingly. Just doesn’t seem as likely to catch lightning in a bottle again. I think Stokes is the better player and had the more sustainable production over Rasul.

Still really excited to be locked into these big 3 for at least the next two years. They really have the potential to do something historically awesome if they all hit their ability.

Starting to consider? I'm with you, but I'm looking at Jones, Dillon, Amos, & Preston, as well. Preston is the really tricky one. Are we going to get 2021 Preston or 2020 Preston? The other three I feel perfectly comfortable putting ahead of the CB's, at this point.

If Stokes catches the ball....he'd easily be next.

But he hasn't yet caught the ball.

Happened to come across a tweet from last season that sums up my thinking about Jones really well:

Nobody other than AJ Dillon ;)

Wasn’t Dillon 2nd in the league after contact last year?

Just gonna say that I think it might be worth putting Sammy Watkins on the list. Not saying I'd vote for him yet, but I think he still has the talent to be a #1 WR but hasn't been in a situation in 4 years where that was possible. I think he might surprise some people.

Again, not saying he should go #9 so don't light me up.

Looks like I am too late. I would have voted for Stokes. To do what he did last year as a rookie is unheard of. If he has the normal percentage improvement that a 2nd year player has, he could be better than Jaire.

There is no one else on this board that can carry his shoes by November.

I think that I will not vote for anyone else until this crowd comes to its senses and takes him off this list.

This is not to say that other players on this board are not very good players. Most of them are. But no one other than Watson has this kind of upside.
