Rank The Roster: 2022 Edition

1. Aaron Rodgers (62%)[--]
2. Kenny Clark (43%)[+3]
3. Jaire Alexander (44%)[--]
4. David Bakhtiari (40%)[--]
5. Elgton Jenkins (29%)[+3]
6. Rashan Gary (51%)[+4]
7. DeVondre Campbell (51%)[+26]
8. Aaron Jones (53%)[-1]
9. Adrian Amos (40%)[--]
10. Eric Stokes (41%)[+10]
11. Current (xx%)[--]

Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

I'm only picking Dillon for now; I think the next two are Dillon and P. Smith, but I think Dillon should go first as he's an ascending player.

After that Savage, Myers, and Lazard

Preston and Dillon

Not exactly sure after that.

I think we all know Yoho will be pushing Watkins then Watson, but I’m leaning Lazard as first WR.

Think Myers Rasul Quay and Savage might go before any one WR, but we’ll see.

our RB tandem will dominate offensive production, so again I vote for Dillon.

one of these guys is up next, I reserve the right to decide later

P. Smith
Savage
Tonyan
Watkins

Im gonna be shocked if Tonyan returns to form this season at all. He was a TD machine two years ago when Rodgers was forcing him the ball on the goalline, then he was basically a ghost last year for the first half of the season until he started to come alive and then quickly got hurt. I dont think he became a ghost because of anything he was doing different, I think it was because of the attention he was getting after all those red zone TDs. He was no longer flying under the radar. So we already saw his production shrink once defenses started to respect him...and that was WITH Adams on the field. Now, with no Adams to take away attention from Tonyan on the goalline...its not gonna go well this year.

Wild we could have 2 RBs go before a 2021 pro bowl CB

I'm of the seemingly vast minority opinion that Tonyan is actually quite a good football player and TE. He isn't benefitting off of some circumstance. He's athletic, hard working, has great hands, has Rodgers' trust (earned it), and can play the game at a high level. I'm a bit surprised to learn that having an underwhelming half season on a team that forced targets to one player at the expense of every other player's targets has dropped him so low to so many. I see it all over, not just here. Like two years ago people were wondering if we could afford him, and now people don't think he can play without massive amounts of help? Makes no sense to me.

It typically takes half a season of play to get your confidence back in your legs after big injuries like ACLs, but I see this guy ascending down the stretch and being a crucial cog in the playoff offense.

Way to blow up my spot before we get there.

Though it's still a ways off.

Preston and Rasul for me this round.

Damn, late again. I would have taken Myers and Watson.

I like Dillon too, but not yet. Myers is a full time starter. Neither RB is. Watson I expect to be WR#1 on day 1 and that is the 2nd most important position on the O, more important than LT or RB. Rookie or not, he deserves votes now.

Hard to say about Tonyan's recovery. If he is 99% his time should be now too. Full time TE is more important than RB or any lineman. But then there is that injury....
