I love, love, love the kid. Don't love the pick. Especially don't love having to trade anything up to get him. But, we'll see. Maybe Gutey knows more about Rodgers future plans than we do. Maybe it won't be up to Rodgers. Obviously, not a pick that helps us this year, but 5 years from now, I think most of you will be singing a different tune.

Jordan Love is 20. He is going to sit behind Rodgers for a few years and hopefully do exactly what Rodgers did at that 26th spot.

A GM has to think of the future of the franchise and not just the next season. Did you feel this way in 2005? I'm not saying Love will be the next Rodgers but evidently Gute and MLF feel this kid will be a good one down the line and didn't want him to slip away.
