Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2021 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Hill is my top pick here. Only guy on the board that shown he might be a stud at the pro level.

I can do Deguara for pick #2. He's going to see the field a lot and has always been MLF's guy.

As of today, several players start TC on PUP. Hill and Tonyan are included. I suspect that Hill starts on PUP simply because cutdowns are going to be tough and they don't need him unless either Jones or Dillon get hurt. Putting him on PUP opens a roster slot for a month.

While I still have hope for Tonyan starting on the 53, I think this opens the door wide for Davis. He is the only true TE on the roster if Tonyan is not active. Deguara is an H back, a specialist. Big Dog is mainly a blocking TE. Only Davis is a receiving threat and a decent blocker and has any experience. I also did not like that drop by Deguara in the playoff game - no possible excuse for that one and his timing could not have been worse.

My second choice is Doubs. I do not believe that Watkins can stay healthy and that Cobb or Rodgers have enough speed and quickness to play the slot except in an emergency.

So Davis and Doubs in no particular order.

I've been on Enagbare and Deguara here. GB will need other edge rushers it eat snaps. We have guys so the rookie will get some chances early. Throw the testing numbers out he's better then that.

Deguara is on his last straw imo. Ml loves this guy and will give him every chance to contribute
