Not sure how much you want to make out of it, but Hanson at RG, Newman at RT.

Reed over Wyatt and Slaton and Quay starting, neither surprising. Kabian Ento being somewhat awkwardly placed as 2nd string.

Rodgers as PR and Gafford as KR.

Biggest take away from all of that maybe Gafford being the 1st KR.

I’ve never even heard of Jack Coco. Have I just not been paying attention?

'Only real surprise to me was Garvin ahead of Hamilton. I've seen nothing to indicate that Garvin is ahead of him, was kind of under the impression he was third-string.

I wasn't expecting them to start Hanson, still not sure I am, but we know it's one possible starting-five combo they have been working with, so it's not a "surprise" in the truest sense.

I am skeptical that he's one of the best five OL we have even without Bakhtiari or Jenkins but I can buy he's probably reliable enough that LaFleur might prefer him to starting a rookie, even one who has been as good as Tom (we saw him start a declining Lane Taylor over rookie Elgton Jenkins).

He's our only hope as a long snapper because he isn't the guy who long snapped last year.

Apart from cool name, I think there was some mention that he had a weird college career, sucked at OTAs but has had a better camp. :idn:

Bukowski has been saying he doesn't think our LS this year is on the team right now.

Which might be tricky given new holder, new snapper, and Mason still not practicing.

If we didn't have Bisaccia, I'd be worried.

The new punter at least has looked good as holder.

I'd rather see 2 RBs on the first string offense (tandem backfield Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon ...... ala Brockington Lane, Levens Bennett, Taylor Hornung, Pitts Taylor, Levens Henderson, Bennett Henderson, Kuhn Starks, Anderson Grabowski, Green Henderson).

Have Lazard block if necessary. Sorry, I just don't see Big Dog helping this offense much anymore. Putting Aaron Jones in motion with AJ Dillon in the backfield is a big plus.

They worked out a bunch of LS and punters today.

I'm pretty sure website depth charts are just website/public info employees drawing info from the practices the same way we do and making judgement calls. Under McCarthy that hunch was confirmed (some guy named Nick, if I recall). Maybe MLF does it differently, but I don't think this matters or means anything.

I certainly don't think anything is settled in terms of who is where for the reserve EDGE spots or OL situation. And definitely not the WRs, either.

Yep. It is pretty well understood that it is an "unofficial depth chart", meaning not assembled by anyone in an official capacity.

5 players will be cut on or before August 16th. Who will the first to be sent home?

Best guess: Manac, Moore, Schneider, Wilborn, Mack
