I noticed there isn't a GDT for this week's game yet. I would think this could be the week we get off the snide but who knows?
What do you gentlemen think?

Hold your horses there! It is coming! I wait until Wednesday as things like the Dope Sheet and Broadcast are not available until Wednesday!

Oops!
I didn't know there was a protocol. I just thought it would be therapeutic to talk about something other than the last 2 games.

Yeah, if you could go ahead and get the gameday thread up, that'd be great... Also, we need to talk about your TPS reports.

I almost forgot, I'm also gonna need you to go ahead and come in on Sunday too, okay. We lost some people this week and ah, we sorta need to play catch up.

Just go win, sitting at 4-3 and half of Wisconsin wants to fire/cut half of players and FO, we’d be sitting pretty if a few things start clicking.

Sounds like Dotson might end up missing the game too.
Our sure has lucked out with injuries and suspensions and schedule so far this year, they really should have better production.
Nice clean game. Smart D, for 4 quarter, no ST gaffes, need to get the running game going. Limit the brainfarts on the OL, hopefully with a new starting group which would exclude Newman.

Quinnen gave us fits last Sunday. Jonathan Allen and Da'Ron Payne are no joke, not to mention Montez Sweat at one of the EDGE spots.
Last time we faced them, we didn't run much, but we threw a lot of short passes outside, no doubt to avoid the interior DL. It was fairly successful, too. I have to imagine we see that kind of gameplan again.
And yeah, if any match-up should be an impetus for us to go with a new OL that moves Jenkins inside from RT, this is it. I will be kinda shocked if they start him at RT again. Not only do you need to do better against those DTs, you need to do better at T against a guy like Sweat. Yosh isn't ideal at RT but still probably more trustworthy protecting the QB.

any news on the OL reshuffle? or are we going to keep trotting Newman out for slaughter for a few more weeks, hell by that time he wont make good road kill for the coyotes :lol
Bulaga says move Jenkins back to LG, Runyan to RG, or RT, he played there some in college????? and Tom, Nijman to RT.
Sounds like a plan to me, we need to get this figured out now, imo this OL is the catalyst to most of problems with this offense, no time for Rodgers, and the RB's have to run through brick walls of 300+ lb DT to much, it's why there near the top in yac, but that banging takes a toll, probably why Matt limits there touch count.
maybe we should ask Bulaga if he wants a job

Tom Silverstein said he would bet everything Jenkins is back at guard and Njiman starts at RT. The only unknown is what guard spot Jenkins plays.

Rumor has it Elgton will be playing a new position Sunday. So O-line will get some sort of a new look.

Someone said in the Jets game day thread that this Packers squad is a very bad team. I am not ready to say that. But this game will be a good litmus test. If we lose to the Redskins, then I'm inclined to agree that this is indeed a very bad team. If we win, I'll continue to hold my current opinion which is that we are a team with young potential that is going through some growing pains. I know there have been other posters in the past who have taken heat for trying to use a single game to determine the team's identity. Usually try not to do that. But a loss in this game will definitely confirm that we suck, in my mind.

Going into the Dallas game 3 and 6 or 4 and 5 ... Wow imagine the vibe at Lambeau if either of those scenarios materialize. 5 and 4 coupled with a convincing win over Dallas is the best we can hope for now. Plus the press will be hyping McCarthy's return.
