Starting 5 OL
Kind of wanted to go through this again.
But if you could set the OL for this Sunday, what does that look like?

I went with Bulaga's opinion, Bahk, Jenkins, Myers, Runyan, and Nijman, there'll be some adjustment, but imo thats our best 5, we do a lot of cross train, so I'am thinking Runyan and Nijman will pick it up quick, and going forward could be our starting 5 a few seasons, be nice to end the musical chairs again for the starters, let them build some chemistry together.
I agree but also would like to consider the last option of Tom at RT just because haven't seen him.Yoop wrote: ↑20 Oct 2022 17:35I went with Bulaga's opinion, Bahk, Jenkins, Myers, Runyan, and Nijman, there'll be some adjustment, but imo thats our best 5, we do a lot of cross train, so I'am thinking Runyan and Nijman will pick it up quick, and going forward could be our starting 5 a few seasons, be nice to end the musical chairs again for the starters, let them build some chemistry together.

Take Newman out, add Nijman or Tom. Whatever configuration that is Bakhtiari, Jenkins, Myers, Runyan, and then Nikman or Tom would work.

Rodge would never stand for that, we'd have to switch to Love, he also has young legs and could do some keepers to spell the J & D boys, never even throw a pass ( shovels and flippers eh ) unless it's to J OR D, trade most of the WR's unless they can block like Lazard for very big OL man and go back to the good ol days of pounding the pig, as Vince said, 3 things happen when you throw the ball, and two of those are badRingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022 13:23I still don't understand why we can't get 200 yards rushing ala Taylor and Hornung.

Exactly. I fully concur with your assessment. Pound it baby! As Max would say ........... "we've got to run the ball and possess the ball" GO PACK GO.Yoop wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022 15:32Rodge would never stand for that, we'd have to switch to Love, he also has young legs and could do some keepers to spell the J & D boys, never even throw a pass ( shovels and flippers eh ) unless it's to J OR D, trade most of the WR's unless they can block like Lazard for very big OL man and go back to the good ol days of pounding the pig, as Vince said, 3 things happen when you throw the ball, and two of those are badRingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022 13:23I still don't understand why we can't get 200 yards rushing ala Taylor and Hornung.

See, we can do this. 200 yards rushing happened vs. the Bills.

prevent defenses invite the run, loaded boxes forbid it, look what happened against that with the jets and Commanders, 3yrds a carry
