One needed to happen, the other kind of a shocker.

Wonder if it was something off the field with Hill, or maybe that knee just wasn’t the same.

Maybe Cobb might be back for Thursday?

I think we should find out quickly. I would expect a practice squad assignment if he is still in their long-term plans.

I would assume Cobb is back to replace Rodgers, but, as you said, the Hill cut is a shocker.

My assumption for now is that Hill is not totally healthy

I have to say I'm surprised by both cuts but for different reasons. Rodgers couldn't field a punt without drama so that is no surprise. It will be interesting to see the reason behind Hill.

I think cutting both is stupid.

Regardless it’s two more draft failures by Gutenbumst.

I think we need to take a moment to remember the nature of Hill's injury.

Like, that was a nasty hit. A player basically flew into his knee like a missile.

I am surprised because the recovery sounded like it was going well and gave us reason to expect his return; he has been doing drills and whatnot. But the fact he recovered as much as he did has actually been more surprising to me than this news. My optimistic expectation was that maybe we got him back next year.

With Hill gone I can only assume Packers continue want to employ aaron jones next year. Totally get why they would and smart, but i saw many pundits assume his contract was basically a two year deal after we drafted Dillon.

This sucks big time.

I loved Kylin Hill. I thought he still showed that same explosion on that 1 carry in Detroit too.

He was on the active roster, the only way to put him back onto practice squad is to release him. If he clears waivers and signs back onto the practice squad, then I'll assume he's just not ready to play. The knee may be medically cleared but perhaps mentally he just isn't ready for live contact.

I'd be surprised if Amari was resigned, I think that experiment is done.

Kylin Hill, cut for not being a choir boy like AJ and Aaron Jones.

Only Aaron Rodgers allowed to have bad attitude.

I mean, on some level, no &%$@. Certainly no one with the career resume of Kylin Hill is above the team.

Sounds like Hill had a significant attitude problem. I’d be surprised to see him resigned to the PS should he clear waivers.

Wow, thats as blunt as it can get in today‘s political correct NFL. Maybe MLF has finally started some hormone therapy? Seriously, of course that is measuring with two different sticks but #12 has done A LOT more than Hill to get away with it, so I can understand MLF and I think the locker room will too.

First team with the option grabbed him. Good for him.

I really hope that he succeeds there.
