TBD game times Lions

Post by JKB »

When does the NFL have to announce game times?
Was Jan 7or 8th.
What is the drop dead date they have to decide?

I wish we all knew. Seems to be a big mystery. I'm guessing once the Packers - Vikings game outcome is evident on Sunday the NFL will finally say something .......... but that's just a wild guess. I've got Lions - Packers game tickets waiting to be put to good use.

You've been trying to peddle those tickets for months.

Yeah, definitely frustrating for those wanting to attend and travel, not even knowing which day.

I get a noon to 3 or 7 flex, but so stupid 8 days before we don’t even know which day yet.

There are only Sunday games week 18, so it is 100% on the 8th.

Yep.

According to the NFL.com website, none of the week 18 games have a kickoff time scheduled yet. They're all TBD and will be finalized once playoff scenarios are determined this weekend. Like every previous year, though, all games will play on the final Sunday of the season.

We may have a reversal. Instead of peddling I may just go myself. It's all still a miserable mystery.

Let's just hope the game has some ramifications. Hungry Lions fan may still be in play for you. Good luck!

As frustrating as it is for fans who want to attend it's super frustrating for those working who don't even know what network has the game! Ad in to that the fact they won't announce till Monday and we start setup wed so have to scramble to travel etc on Tues and it it's a potential nightmare! Luckily for me I live about an hour away but some travel from our of state

Regardless I have my hotel booked for Sunday night. Who wants to start planning the pregame tailgating (indoors is fine) location/specifics? Near Kroll's or the Distillery works for me. Still looking for someone who wants my other ticket.

In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 PM ET and 8:15 PM ET) with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1:00 PM ET and 4:25 PM ET) and one matchup to be played on Sunday night (8:20 PM ET). Specific dates, start times, and networks for Week 18 matchups will be determined and announced following the conclusion of Week 17.
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

Oh wow. I didn’t realize the league changed their final weekend scheduling from all on Sunday to the Sat/Sun mix. I just looked and it apparently started last year. I assume the college football playoff schedule - no Sat game, Monday Jan 9 is championship game - is what’s driving that?

Ok thanks.

So yeah, I guess I don't care about time as much, but those Saturday teams should be announced at least like 2 weeks ahead of time, if not more.

I'd be totally fine with 3 saturday games too, make a little more sure you can get all the best matchups in prime time.

Just win tomorrow first please. And then please schedule the Packers - Lions game for any time on Sunday January 8th. :aok:

I'd be shocked if we aren't the Sunday Night Football game on NBC. The only downside of us being on Sunday Night is we will know if the Lions are eliminated before the game or not.

We play the early game on Sunday… :munch:

See the nfl.com for all game times.

Go to week 18 or see the screenshot below.

Ok. It is 1AM on the east coast. The Packers’ website still says TBD. BSPN still says TBD. Go figure. :dunno:

What time zone are you viewing that from? Surprised they would schedule Seattle game in the early slot…?

Edit: I just followed your link. That schedule lists every Sunday game as a 1pm EST start. It doesn’t look like a finalized schedule yet.
