2023 NFL Schedule

Post by Scott4Pack »

I know this is way early. But can somebody tell me which AFC division the NFC North faces next year? I’m hoping we face the AFC West.

I’m already planning to travel to a game. My wife, bless her soul, is a Bronco fan. I’d like to get us to that game if it ends up happening. Either in Denver or GB.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!

Almost positive without looking it up (don’t quote me) we are in Denver next year.

In Denver would work best. I LOVE Lambeau, of course. But I have memories in Denver too. I was at the OT game there when Favre hit Jennings on the first play for the win. Was with wife’s cousin then. He was broken-hearted and shocked. I was elated. SO MANY of PackerNation showed for that game too.

I was there with my four kids and one of my brothers. What an exciting finish!! I actually believe there were as many Packer fans as Bronco fans there. The game was at the same time the Rockies were in baseball playoffs.
GO PACK GO!!!

LOL! Love it!

If I needed to hire somebody, I could probably use a guy like Ringo. He could give me the info that I would almost be ready to ask for, a week before I ask for it. Not realizing that I hadn’t asked for it a week prior, he would then remind me a week henceforth that I had not yet requested the very info that I should have requested from him. And I would be amazed, wondering how I could ever be so blessed to share airspace with him.

:-)

I'm working on the 2024 opponents now. Please alert us when the board is ready to receive this valuable and intriguing information. After the 2023 schedule is released maybe????

Oh, that would be tacky, right? Lol. PackerNation already accepts your vastly superior ability in schedule ciphering.

That was an amazing game, for sure. I remember Rodgers appearing on the McCarren show after that game and McCarren showed the video of that play, noting that at the time Favre through the ball, Dre Bly was running step for step with Jennings, but that once the ball was in the air Jennings sped past Bly for the easy TD. McCarren asked Rodgers how Fabre could know Jennings would do that. “We have a saying among quarterbacks and receivers,” Rodgers said with a smile. “If you’re even, you’re leavin.”
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

Yup. As I read your comment, I was thinking about the “If I’m even, I’m leavin” thingy. Then I read that you wrote it! I do think that’s a true thing. WRs have that mindset that if the CB was going to beat them, it had to be near the LOS. If they are already 10 yards (maybe less) downfield and are even, then the WR has already won and is in position to catch a well-thrown pass. And it only gets better if he runs further.

BTW, that’s why I want a defense that plays aggressively. Make those WRs earn their pay and defeat them early. Play off of them only to throw a curve or surprise or use the zones.

I know parody is real, but I really can’t imagine any of those 4 teams not being really good next year. Maybe Philly?? But those other 3 are main stays.
