2020 NFL Draft Armchair GM

Your turn to show what you have as a Packer GM. Redraft for the Packers. You must follow a few rules:
1. Start with the Packers original draft picks before day 1 started (Pick 30 and pick 136)
2. Trades are allowed, but you need to be within 7% of equal value. Use any of the 3 accepted charts you wish, just link which one you used.
3. You can not pick a player later than when they were actually drafted.
4. You can not trade into the spot the player was drafted, it must be before.

That's it! You even get the value of hindsight and the ability to trade up or down regardless of the desires of other teams! Put up or shut up time. We will revisit yearly to see how we all did compared to how the Packers did.

I will get mine going ASAP! I think I might even start a board consensus one. Stay tuned for that one.

Move up with Miami:
Rd 1
Pat Queen- real life I probably move with Seattle as I knew I only had to jump Baltimore.
Rd 2
Justin Madubuike- what a steal
Rd 3
Solomon Kindley- values too high IMO
Rd 5
Donovan Peoples-Jones- I’ll bite and give it an attempt
Rd 6a
Jon Runyan Jr- I would have made the same move. Great value IMO
Rd 6b
Kenny Willekes- good pass rushing depth shoulda been long gone
Rd 6c
Markus Bailey- versatile LB depth
Rd 7a
Anthony Gordon- backup QBs competition
Rd 7b
Trey Adams- steal of the draft. Top 10 talent went undrafted. Lael Collins 2.0

I don't have time for a full draft. But I can say that I would've been torn between Queen and Mims. I've said before that I might've flipped a coin between the two. I like Mims because of his speed. And I liked Queen because he should be able to lead a defense for years. Yeah, maybe needed to jump Baltimore for him, but the Pack was already on the phone with Seattle, so I figure I could've pulled that off too.

The only other question would be, if I had really studied the film on Love, would I have drafted him? Or, would his value for 30 make him fall out of the rules that you made for this thread?

I've already sorta laid this out. I never like to change TOO much when doing these, because I generally think the team has more info than me and because I really like the players we got.

So here we go.

AT 30, we trade back to 34 with the Colts for pick 122 in the 4th.
That's a 10 point advantage to the Colts on the traditional chart. Gutey said the options weren't good, so I think we should be in a deficit on the chart.

The Colts were rumored to really like Love, so let's say that's true, they trade up for Love at 30.

At 34: Laviska Shenault
62: AJ Dillon
96: Josiah Deguara
122: Jacob Eason
136: CB Amik Robertson

So basically I'm swapping Love for Shenault, Eason, and Robertson.

rest of the draft...

I definitely select Prince Tega-W over Simon Stefanik
I might opt for Marcus Bailey over Kamal Martin with the same LB pick, but I'm not sure

I did not follow this draft, but if I could have moved up to where we did and give up only a 4th to secure an ILB, I make that trade with a big smile on the face and take either of the two LBers that went right after Love (I liked the Texas Tech dude whose name eludes me now, too, though Queen would have been higher for me).

At that point, I turn the rest of the draft over to an AI or something.

I replaced the QB pick with a WR. I just think QB is at least a year too early. Otherwise, I tried to stay with the same general philosophy of what the Packers were doing.

I like this draft but would swap Pittman for Higgins.
I don't think i would go Dillon but not sure where I would go.
