2023 Packers-Huddle Draft Contests

Well I have no idea where the $%@# [mention]paco[/mention] has been, but I got this up and running. Jerk beat me by a tiebreaker last year.

Draft season is upon us and that means its time to get your mock skills sharpened! Again we will have a full 1st round contest as well as a Packers only one. Remember, ANYONE can do it! Doesn't matter if you know about the draftees or not. It's like March Madness, just fill it out and brag when you beat all the experts!

Here's the link for the contest. Rules and past contests are all in there. Just put you name at the top of the columns you intend to use. If more spots are needed let me know. Also, if there isn't a prospect showing you want to select, or any other changes, shoot me a PM and I'll make the necessary adjustments.

As always, spelling matters. Copy and paste the name if you have to. I don't guarantee you get points if you spell it wrong.

Packers draft, remember you need the round number, pick number, player name, and position. If you leave things out, you leave potential points on the table! Look at mine for examples.

Last year I gave a prize. I might again this year if you are lucky!

That jerk won fair and square! Hi all. I've lurked from time to time. But lotta life getting in the way these days. Also just needed a break. You guys can be a bit much to handle at times!

I've done very little draft work this year. Probably the least I've done in a decade or more. Will see if I can put together some picks. Have fun all. Be nice, stop arguing so much, and Go Pack Go! We all need a little Love right now.

That's typically when I do it. I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to fill things in as we go. But hopefully I will.

No way I think Foskey lasts til the 3rd but I wanted him in my Packer draft because I feel good about him in Green and Gold.

Side note: I hope that spread sheet autosaves. Not going through that effort again...

I have never been more disappointed or confused or less confident in a draft contest submission than I am right now. What a humbling exercise.

And having gone through it, I think we can say for sure, there really genuinely are not enough first round players this year. I was streeettttching

Kind of just threw mine up like 2 weeks ago when I opened this, without a ton of thought, just to have an example in there for others and make sure all the updates worked.

Totally thinking about just leaving that, not getting caught up in recent hype and rumors.

Not a bad idea. I just vomited football garbage onto the spreadsheet. The nausea remains.

I feel like I did a lot more work looking into draft prospects this year than I have in a whiiille, but that it's also left me out of touch with the consensus and with other teams' needs, which I usually have a better handle on.


That plus assuming a ton of trades in the top 10 meaning I am picking players at slots and guessing which teams will be there and trying to keep track of it? I basically assumed both the Titans and the Raiders traded up to 3 and made picks 7 and 11 for Raiders/Titans/Cardinals all at once

Since I have ZERO idea how this draft's gonna go, I figured out a new tactic: Make the teams I dislike pick all the prospects I like. Scoring in the competition will mellow the envy.
