Wow, those are maybe the closest numbers I've ever seen between two players.

TE and S, however, I think are 2 positions that are least correlated with athleticism. But still sweet either way.

Spending high picks on TEs always makes me nervous, but he's certainly an interesting prospect

The Draft Network guys love this dude.

I think Cossell and Fennell are a little more lukewarm. I guess I could check Fennell's twitter but I'm afraid of spoilers so I'll wait until after pick 50

Cossell = lukewarm. Hahaha

But seriously, Musgrave should be very good. And picking him ahead of Washington probably tells us something about how MLF wants to use the offense. Go vertical. Have SPEED. I’m excited about this pick.

Jon-Eric Sullivan says Musgrave has the mentality to improve and that he'll have a role year one, but the guy you see year 1 versus year 3 will be vastly different.

If Musgrave catches two times in the middle of the field per game and an occasional TD, I’ll be very happy in year 1 for him. And lots of growth from there!

Really pre-annoyed at how often I'm going to have to hear about the fact that Musgrave was a competitive downhill skier

Musgrave said that he participated in the Senior Bowl against the advice of his doctors (advice, not orders) and that it was probably a little too soon, but he missed football so much he wanted to get on the field again.

Musgrave has a blocked punt for a TD and likes special teams.

I took a look at a few game tapes, and Musgrave sure is one smooth athlete for his size. :heart: I love it. :heart:

Not quite the WR-in-TE's-body Finley was, but this is no lumbering TE. Has real good loose hips, which helps him look smooth and agile when running routes. When blocking, he tends to bend at the knees naturally to be the low man in a good position - which is real great sign for a 6'6'' guy. Legitimate deep threat.

Even though he can change directions, he runs routes more smooth than crisp. Didn't see him stick a foot in to do a sharp cut. Didn't see an arms fully extended -catch or a pure jump ball win on this limited tape, but is not only body catcher. Has a ways to go as a blocker and could add strength (which goes for ALL rookie TEs).

Was set to break through in 2022: In his 2 games before injury, he got 11 catches for 169 yards and a TD despite being focus of the D due to Oregon St. having otherwise crap WRs.

I think he'll start day one and produce as a pass-catcher, but will take his lumps year one. The potential is there to be extremely good.
