During the offseason, bears were favored by 3 as the national media continued to poop on the Packers
It dropped to 2.5 as bettors weighed in, then 2 and now bears are favored by 1 at the vegasinsiders site below
My guess is this will roll over to the Packers side by game time, with GB favored by 1.5 on September 10th

https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/matchups/

It never made any sense to favor the bears- they were absolutely horrible last season. Point Differential is highly predictive and Chicago was - 137 last year, better than only the lowly Colts who came in at -138 for the season. ( Packers came in at -1 for the year)

And while bears added talent- they're coming off a 2022 season where they were 1-13 since the first week in October.
They are just not a very good team yet and they haven't learned how to win in the NFL. I'll take the Packers and the points before the rest of the world wakes up and realizes the Packers are just a much better squad across the board.

Go Packers 8-)

For ole time’s sake, I’m calling out JustJeff and that he would speak so diplomatically about da Bears and still revel in the Packer ability to trounce them.

I’m a believer in the Packer team speed on defense and a newfound ability to stop the run. I’m believing that Love’s stat line will be something like 250 yards with 3 TD and 1 INT. I like a big ST play, as there’s always something different about the Bear games. Even so, it’ll be somewhat close.

Packers 24
Bears 21

This should be an easy game. If we don’t beat the Bears we are one of the worst team in the league. Their entire team is bad minus a WR who is kind of good between the 20s.

This defense should batter Fields. It shouldn’t even be close. The offense just needs to not gift points through turnovers.

Packers - 23
Bears - 17

Bears offense doesn't scare me in the least. 17 might be generous. I have PTSD because of the 49ers running all over us in years past and all we need to do against the Bears is stop Fields from running for 120 and 2 tudders.

I am refreshingly excited about this season. Who knows what we really have. I'll start going bonkers next year if things don't start to come together. All our young guys will have a year of experience under their belt. We emerge from cap hell and will be able to resign our own or dip into FA, as needed. Next year and beyond is when we regain dominance over the division.

Having no expectations on the season is liberating. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Aaron Rodgers most embarrassing moment as Packers QB. If Love throws down one Spotted Cow at a Bucks game, he becomes an immediate legend.

There are better beers that aren't owned by lunatics that don't pay their investors.

Yeah, if it's cold and in a cup, I'm not complaining.
