Thanksgiving Postgame: Packers 29 Lions 22

This was THE game of 2023. This was our primetime game against the best team in the division.

Absolutely huge win. The defense played incredible on the big plays. And Jordan Love was near perfect. Only real complaints are the two drops on offense. But man. What a game by the Green Bay Packers.

I've been saying it for a couple of weeks. A win vs Detroit puts us in the WC race. We are now in the hunt boys and girls.

Seattle has a brutal stretch here. We have a great schedule in December.

For box score watchers and occasional game watchers, have a feeling packers gunna be a common SB pick next offseason I have a feeling.

I saw several dogs out there today. I liked at start of second half when lions came out pounding and trying to get tough, the team really responded and matched energy, that was fun.

Gute is inept"

My only complaint is that Love continues to under throw Watson.

Is that just a practice rep thing given Watson's injury history? I mean, Love clearly has the arm strength, but so often with Watson it is short.

One was a little but completed, the other had a pass rusher in his face.

It is ok to enjoy a win, I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong.

Lafleur has beaten the hot seat chargers for 2023 in my eyes. 2nd year in a row the packers have appeared in dissaray by mid year but appear to have made a second half of season rebound. Props to coach for keeping the boys together when the house looked like it could collapse.

Last one was off back foot against blitz. Bad play call in that situation. First play was underthrown and shouldn't have been.

After the Chiefs, maybe we can shock the world again. After a mini-bye to get healthy and at home. But then…

@Giants
Buccaneers
@Panthers
@Vikings (only team with a winning record and the one we need to knock out of the wild card)
Bears

Might be the easiest, most perfectly set up remaining schedule remaining.

So we could end up 10-7 if it ends up like this.

Yeah, the intensity was really ratcheted up for those first few drives of the second half and it really flowed both directions. Good note

Amazing; we won on both sides of the line and we won pretty convincingly.

Shocked.

And obviously not just personnel, but attitude, intensity, play calling, scheme, we won all facets today.

I will always say it.

Lotta ball game left. If we only win once or twice in December the mob will crawl out again

Had a lot of distractions while the game was going on but from what I saw, the team - offense, defense, ST - all played a terrific game. Dominated a division foe favorite in their house on national television. Can't ask for a better Thanksgiving gift than that!

Only real complaints are the two drops on offense.

And our kicker missed another extra point. It's starting to grab my attention. The last thing you want to worry about is a shaky kicker once you go for a SB (which could be as soon as in 24).

But that's not even a footnote today. An injury-riddled young team, in the midst of a tough season, comes to Detroit and shatters its wet dream (for now), essentially avenging what they did to us last season. Kudos! MLF still may look like a schoolboy to Campbell, but who cares as long as the results are coming.

Big game tonight. SF @ SEA

A SEA loss puts GB one game out of 6th seed in the NFC
