Love played good and to what we expect now. ThThe running game helped out and set the tone. I think many thought we should be able to run on the Panthers as other teams have. Nice to see Aaron Jones running well again.
The defense...
I am super pumped for next years offense. Wicks certainly appears ready to be that solid #2 WR. If Watson and Wicks can stay healthy together, along with our two sophmore talented Tight Ends, the offense could be wicked good, especially with improved o line and ground game. With Love getting better and better with more experience that is something I can get pumped about going forward.

Was on the road during the game. Caught it on the Panther's radio network. The whole forth quarter they were raving about Bryce Young's personal record breaking day.

Any W is a good W. I keep telling myself that. But our D really sucks. The Panthers hadn’t scored any TD since first week of December. And now they light up our defense for FOUR.

I’m noticing people in here and also in the online media that never blame Lafleur for anything start to really hammer him over this Barry thing.
Lafleur may not want to can the fella on Christmas

Prolly should have done it 6 days ago then, or maybe 11 months. Or maybe not hire him.

It was a horrible hire. It’s cost Lafleur and his legacy a lot.

If MLF thinks his offense didn't do enough in this game we have bigger problems than Barry.

Tomorrow is boxing day. Crate him up and ship him out.
But as long he is gone at the end of the year I'll be happy until they grab another bend, bend, bend, snap guy.

There was a play when Dillon got the ball and it seemed like the entire right-hand side of the field opened up for him. Seriously nobody within ten yards of him. I'm thinking it's a big play for sure! Well, he makes his cut to the right and creeps across the LOS for all of two yards.
I know the LBs and DBs are fast. But seriously, that looked like Dillon was pulling a tractor on that run. He really needs to work on his quickness and acceleration. I know we didn't get him for that. But he should've had at lease five more yards after carrying bodies. And I love the guy too.

Alexander, Stokes and Nixon were targeted a combined 13 times in this game.
The result was 13 completions for 191 yards and 2 TDs.
So that's cool

Nixon is just a bad CB. We took a gamble hoping he could return kicks and play CB but he can’t. Returning kicks in general just isn’t worth it. Stokes is also a bad CB. Just doesn’t have the lateral agility or balance.
Jaire though needs to be better. Not only because he’s paid like it but because we have seen he can be good but this entire season he’s looked like he’s playing half hearted. To make matters worse he’s basically talked &%$@ in his team and coaches all year. Matt LaFleur needs to stop being such a pussy and rein him in.

All 3 of those guys are much better in man.

I would never want Nixon or Stokes in man coverage. Stokes especially. He would get pan fried noodles.

imo theres no secret to most DC's using 2 high coverage, the league is over run with Stokes, 1/3rd of the league is using a off shoot of Vic Fangio 2 high cushion zones imo because of mainly that, just not enough quality man coverage CB's, I think it stems from so much spread offenses in college (guessing)

They need to play the call and just survive the down.

how do you know that wasn't in man coverage? I think it may have been, at least partially anyway, I read we used more man, with zero positive results, imo I think both Alexander and Nixon mailed it in.
I know I must be crazy to think such a thing
