Week 17 Games
Nutters to me the Browns are 11-5 in a very tough division and tough conference playing randos at QB.
Stefanski has my vote of COTY right now.

I agree he’s done a great job, but I also I don’t consider Joe Flacco a rando. He’s a Super Bowl champ.
You can get away with a lot when you have a great DC and a top 3 defense in the league

Maybe it's just me, but I $%@# hate all the graphics they use in pregame and halftime shows with all their circles and lines to follow a route, ball, etc. I watch football, not video games. Last night I noticed they would keep people circled during the actual game. Just 1 or 2 at points. For me it doesn't add, it subtracts from viewing.
oh, and the Browns Looked good albeit against the Jets. Browns had wide open receivers seemingly every play and the Jets QB didn't have .2 seconds to throw sometimes. One play they were in shotgun, one step throw, but couldn't throw because someone was right in the lane immediately so had to hold a second then then throw and was rocked as he did it and it was batted up anyway. I'm like, how can you line up 7 yards deep and not get more than 0.8 seconds to throw. But the Jets showed us how LOL. I exaggerate, but only a little.

And just more to show the Jets are broken well beyond QB.
Jets got lucky/up for a few games early last year and that gave them a false sense of competence.
Maybe they’ll start to like a 5-2 next year with Aaron and some adrenaline, but they’ll be below .500 again.
Ya. What’s funny is Flacco was on the Jets and wanted to be a Jet before the browns picked him up.BF004 wrote: ↑29 Dec 2023 08:21And just more to show the Jets are broken well beyond QB.

But yes, the jets defense has been overrated all year. They aren’t a great defense losing because of no offense like the patriots. Or a great defense winning 10 games because of that defense and a mid offense.
They are a mid defense with a false reputation

I think Mac allowed Barry to be his DC that last drive.

Looks like the Lions had their Fail Mary game tonight. Evidently one OL told the ref he was eligible but the ref misunderstood and assumed a different player was. Over on FF the Detroit fans are pissed at the ref. IMO they should be pissed at their HC for not kicking the extra point and going to OT. Even with the lower percentage of made extra points kicking it is still better than going for 2.
Referee screwed up, assumed 70 was tackle eligible not 68, or wasn’t listening?
But then he went and told the cowboys it was 70, so they wouldn’t have to cover 68.
So no way to not screw 1 team more than the other.
Didn’t they used to announce over the refs microphone the number of the player that was tackle eligible?

They still do announce it.
