Re: Milwaukee Brewers
Sounds like the Brewers are moving toward getting Jackson Chourio up to the big leagues sooner rather than later.
Hope he's as good as he sounds! Too many times it seems our top prospects fizzle out at the MLB level.

No kidding. Me too.
I read his bat speed and hand-eye coordination is at an elite level. He doesn't hit for power yet but that should come as he grows into his adult frame. If he develops into the player they think he can be, and he's locked up for 8 years, that's something they can build around.
This is good, right? Player opt out after 1 year, so may not last long if he's good.

The chatter on The Game today regarding the Brewers decision to cut bait on Corbin Burnes is absolutely useless (a ton of hot air). These people on the radio are dreaming up scenarios and justifications that hold no water ........... have no basis in reality. They're basically professional BSers getting paid to spew. They're spewing "pure conjecture" garbage.
Face it people.........the Brewers don't have the cash to be ALL IN. This has been going on since the 70s.
Anyone want a 'almost good as new' size XL Brewers t-shirt? I've had it with these guys.

Yet made another nice move for this season. Bats should be much better.

Would have just loved to hit the playoffs with Woodruff, Burnes and Peralta healthy and on their game. 3-4 man rotations in the playoffs. Just a not below average offense, and we may have been the favorites.
At the same time, think the bats fill the seats better.
8-6 win is just more fun than a 3-2 win.

There's a chance he could pitch this year. Tear wasn't as bad as they thought. But likely it'll be 2025.

This Hoskins Yelich combo could be special like Yount and Molitar. Crew is 3 and 0. Adames is hitting. What the hell's going on out there? Maybe this will work.
That, and Chourio has shown the big league game isn't too big for him. Off to a solid start. Pitching has been a surprise thus far and I doubt it lasts, but I like the way this transformed team has come out the gate.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑31 Mar 2024 20:11This Hoskins Yelich combo could be special like Yount and Molitar. Figured it was time for a new thread for a new season. Have at it, Brew Crew fans!
Are the Brewers this good? Gotta say, they’ve been fun to follow thus far!
They really have been a treat to watch. Need another pitcher, bats are fun.

I thought worst team in 20 years, but apparently not so.

Three game losing streak and Yelich on the DL. The Brewers are back, baby!
