Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).
Here's the thing.
There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Added a few more players to the list. If there is anyone you can see voting for in the near future, let me know and I'll get them up. We are still light on the lines for sure.

Savage here for sure for me; I feel this is the end of the solid starter tier. Wagner up next.

I'm tempted to go with Wagner here, but Savage, it is. I really hope he takes that next step forward.

Savage, Wags, then some receiving threats.

I'm on the same page with that.
Forewarning: I will be voting for EQSB long before any of you based on my own evaluation of how good he will develop to be. I see him earning a top-3 role this season.

I have been looking forward to the Funchess/Lazard votes, but I can easily see EQ in that mix, as well.

Lazard in the top 20 for sure!

I want to believe that. It's just that he had such a quiet camp last year.
Now I know Rodgers was quoted on saying don't count out EQSB just because he hasn't been making the eye popping plays and I know his "needed coming out party" he did actually perform really well in Canada.
But I just can't get beyond the fact of the coaches not viewing EQSB in a high enough light to take a risk of cutting a LB like Crawford or even a borderline WR like Shepherd to cut for a week and bring back on the team in week 2 so we could at least have the option of IR return for EQSB.

Yeah, Lazard is going to be my #2 WR. His physical style of play works well with what the offense is trying to do, he's as much of a TE as Jimmy Graham was.

Savage. I could have been talked into voting for him earlier if someone made a more convincing case. He's very young and has loads of talent, but he also has a lot to clean up. He could take a big jump next year, or he may have a way to go like Nick Collins did. I like mid-teens for him.
So concludes another tier-line. I likely go Wags next, then I am pretty unsure.

I don't know if its near future, but Lancaster/Adams/Hester will probably compete for snaps on DL. Big Dog still seems in the plans at TE. And I am not sure what we have or what we do with Lane Taylor, but as a former starter and a decent one at that, we probably need to consider him for IOL depth. Or does he actually have a shot to unseat Turner?

I mean, worth putting out there, but it feels very early to be discussing any of those guys.

The way I look at it, last year in this poll, our WRs went:
4. Davante Adams
17. MVS
19. EQSB
26. Geronimo Allison
This year, I have reason to drop MVS based on how poorly last year went. I have reason to elevate Lazard based on how well last year went. I still see Funchess as a replacement for Allison who I think will compete for EQSB for that primary 3rd WR role.
In short, I can put Lazard around 15 (but will be go Wagner first) but see no reason why a broken or sprained ankle or whatever should reduce our faith in EQSB. If anything, he has a healthy body and had time to digest the system before having to go out there and put it to use. SO I'll be pushing for EQSB around the top 20 and will vote for him before Funchess.

Savage. Looking for that 2nd year jump!

I went with Lazard. IMO the #2 WR is more important than the #2 safety and both are likely to have a big jump this year.
Savage and Wagner and Lazard should finish off this tier. Maybe Sternberger also
Glad to see that you have Runyan on the list because IMO he is going to replace Turner before the season ends - unless Wagner or Bak get hurt

Dang, I have at least 5 players ahead of Lazard. That is why these are fun I guess.

Of all the rookies, I think Runyan has the best chance of legit starting. However I think Deguara has to be the favorite for most snaps of the bunch.
Runyan has a clear path to the starting lineup though. Turner is one of the worst starters on the team and if you add upside in the equation, he's easily the worst.
Though I think RG is going to be a dogfight, the battle of camp. Turner vs Taylor vs Madison vs Runyan

I would be pretty surprised if Madison is practicing by August. He tore his ACL right around Thanksgiving so that would be quick turn around. It would be really awesome though if we could get production from both Madison and Runyan as making Taylor and Turner disposable in 2020 and 2021 could free up necessary space to at the very least resign our Left Tackle.
